Horrible experience DO NOT GO!!! Bought our tickets a month in advance for New Years Eve 2015 waited in line outside for 1hr which was fine. We were able to get a good table. About 20 min before show started a short, obnoxious old man wearing glasses pushes a table right in front of us and proceeds to seat two of his friends, his friends even stated it was too close to us and blocking our view, he rudely responded "dont worry about it" at which time I objected. Well, his friends were obviously more embarrassed than he was. We came to find out he was the owner/ronald brice whom has no class or respect for paying customers, obviously his mother did not teach him any manners. Permit me to elaborate, he came back a second time but not to apologize but to try to excuse his behavior and when my wife responded, he rudely yelled "I am not talking to you" in a snobbish tone at which time I had to stand up and get in front of his face and put a stop to it. Obviously he has NO respect for women much less for any other person outside his circle of so called friends. I also agree with another poster that this venue is overbooked and a potential safety hazard, will have to bring this issue up to Fire Marshal. Such a shame because the bands that play here are great but please heed warning especially if you want to put up with an excessive crowd and a narcissistic snob of an owner.

Consistently THE WORST service youll ever get. Go for the music but dont eat here and dont expect to drink anything other than bottled beer that you go get at the bar yourself if you want it right and timely. DO NOT drink the water. It tastes like a glass of stale bleach water. The music is always good, but the owners are clearly terrible at managing anything other than making money. Food is mediocre at best, and will take literally hours to get an order of chips and salsa. Understaffed every single night, and other than one great bartender whos usually there the staff is unfriendly and could not possibly be worse. I keep giving the place chance after chance because I love live music and like to support local artists, but its almost not with it the experience overall is so horrible in every other way. If I could rate it half star I would, but gave it two to give some props to the musicians who play here.

Guys, Please decide if you want to be a music venue or a restaurant in front of the stage. You are drawing way too big of crowds these days to have as many tables set up in front of the stage area as you do. On packed nights you need to have less tables set up in front of the stage area or let less people in. I would rather be told its sold out at the door and not pay rather than pay to get into an extremely packed event where the isnt even anywhere to stand. Its getting old every time I come to see my favorite bands and there isnt even standing room because you keep so many tables set up in front of the stage. Otherwise, 3rd & Lindsley never ceases to amaze me with the incredible music that they book. Some of the best music in the world comes through this venue. The food is solid and I always look forward to a night spent at 3rd.

One of the very best music venues in a city full of incredible venues and world class music. To look at the list of acts that have played 3rd & Lindsey you cant help but wonder how they manage to get these hugely successful widely known uber popular Gramy winning superstars booked in a venue that holds 200 people. The answer is, most of them played here on their way up...these folks know good music and they have the track record to prove it. If you have the opportunity to catch a show here, dont worry about whos playing...it will be a good show so just go and soon enough you can say you sat 15 feet away from the next big deal playing acoustic guitar in this cozy Nashville bar before he or she became a household name.

I could not believe it.. We were so excited to see one of our favorite bands. We got sshhed because we tried to sing along, a girl next to us went to dance with her date, and she was asked to sit down and be quite. We went to see a rock band in concert, we did not go to the Library. The servers were very rude, the location is awful, the customers were LAME... Never again will I go there. I recommend if you want to see someone good here, do not go! Wait until they are playing somewhere else. We also saw this same band at Mercy Lounge. Now, That was awesome!

Follow up review-another Allen Stone concert -the sound was absolutely perfect-I dont know how they mix the sound so amazingly. Im pretty picky about the mix and I honestly dont know how it could be any better than this. Its also not shrill or painful as a lot of venues this size seem to be. The food was great, the service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly at this sold out very crowded show. Allen Stone was amazing as usual and i would rather see him or anybody else at this venue than any other venue in Nashville!

WORST SOUND MAN EVER!!!!! We just went to see the Wooten Brothers and sat through an EXCRUCIATING hour of squealing feedback! We finally got up and walked out. They were still trying to get it fixed after an hour! At one point, one of the Wooten brothers actually left the stage to try to help fix it. I felt bad for the Wooten brothers. It was awful! The sound guy had obviously never touched a sound board in his life! and he should never be allowed anywhere near a sound board ever again!

Great sound system, food and service. Yes, the restroom is tiny for this size place. I can only imagine what the women have (or dont have) to deal with. Still, prices of the generous portions of good food are so great, and the service so quick and friendly, and the vibe so great (Yeah! Lani Nash!) that we had a wonderful time. Parking is tight in their own lot, but the some of the neighboring lots seem to allow free parking.

Arrived hungry and left hungry. Go early or prepare to stand w/o service. Went here several times in the past and always had a blast but went to a show tonight and couldnt find anywhere to sit, much less stand. Waitress scolded me for standing in her way when she should have helped me find a place to stand. Just felt crammed and uncomfortable so we left after two songs. Waited a month to see the show.......

Great show last week. Very spacious, good artists. I must complain about an open door that leads to the outside on the right side of the stage. It was a cold night, and the band members kept going out the door leaving it wide open and those of us sitting near this door were miserable. Surely you can fix this situation so that your paying guests can TOTALLY enjoy the show.
