VIsited for lunch today, 1/11/16, knowing a renovation and re-fixturing had been accomplished. Good news and bad news: Decor and furnishings are much improved, as is the general arrangement and presentation of all foods: Less the "steam table" look of the 80s, and much more befitting a 21st century contemporary Asian buffet. Everything looks far more appealing and fresher than ever before. Food quality is significantly elevated. But...whoever runs the kitchen needs to become confident with "flavor profiles" and go for it. The greatest thing about Asian food is the juxtaposition of contrasting flavors -- sweet, spicy, sour, heat, earthy richness and cool palate-cleansers...all in the same place. That adventuresome, bold quality is absent here. Food quality is great, and everything looks, tastes and IS fresh. Very few of the Asian dishes have "authority" or "punch." Theres a timid blandness to much of it. Come prepared to season your own. For a few bits over $10 for lunch with drink, its still a good deal.

The sushi was acceptable. I know mislabeling food is par for the course in this type of place but I think most people can tell the difference between cod and salmon. A few of the hot items were obviously leftovers from the day before but nothing tasted horrible. Overall this is NOT the worst chinese buffet in bartlett

This is my #1 favorite chinese buffet in the world. I love to get the jalapeno chicken and mix it with something sweet. The peanut butter chicken is great too. They have so many different great things to choose from. They have redone the inside and the place is so nice now.

Food is so so What pisses me off os that in the middle of meal one waitress come to my table, handed me the bill and said "Bye Bye". I felt I had eaten a lot (LOL) and they want me to leave. I think cheap things costs in other way, in this case total lack of professionalism.

The food and service was more than I expected. My wife accidentally dropped her phone and the waiter quickly brought it to her attention... honest people will have us going back. There is plenty to choose from... there is a hibachi and sushi bar thats included

Im not from Memphis. But this place makes me feel like Im eating at a buffet from home. Service may not be the best in a restaurant, but they keep the place clean and do a good job of making sure drink is good, and plates get cleared. For the price... Worth it

Excellent restaurant. Great service, ambiance, food is outstanding. Up to date dining room, very elegant yet casual. Great presentation. Restrooms were sparkling. I was headed to another restaurant when the Red Sun Buffet caught my eye: Im glad I came in.

Horrible service. The restaurant charged gratuity for my party size, and they did not come to the table once to see if we needed anything or refill our drinks. I spoke with the owner manager and he didnt do anything about my concerns. I will never return.

Disappointing. The food used to be great but it has really gone down hill now - its the first time I ever went to a buffet and left hungry. One taste of everything on my plate and I was done...where is Chef Ramsey when you need him?

Horrible left and went to McDonalds. Food was old asked for new wontons and they were still bad. Chicken and broccoli smelled funny. Hope I dont get sick. Pacific fusion although mediocre was WAY better. Dont waste your money.

Good food. The booth bench I was seated was worn but comfortable and the dining area was clean. The server was pleasant and prompt and the price was reasonable. I would go back there for dinner in the future.

Enjoyed the hibachi and sushi. Lots of variety. Pretty good spot if you want a quick lunch - I sat down, had lunch and paid in about 15 minutes!
