Only 1 stars,heres why. The food was excellent,but the service was the worst Ive had in years. Asked for a few minutes to review the menu,our server said ok. Then it was like 15 minutes before he came back,maybe longer. Neither me nor my mother received a drink refill. Long after we finished eating,he came by and asked if I wanted a refill. I declined and asked for our check. So all together we waited at least 20 minutes for our check,on top of waiting at least 15 minutes uses for our order to be taken. This isnt rocket science,people lay their menus down,you ask if theyre ready to order,they get low on drink,you refill. They finish eating,you ask if theyre ready for the check. Simple. Then while we paid,the host talked the entire time to a lady that seemed to work there,while ignoring us as we paid. No thank you come back,or how was everything or any of that. And I ordered fajitas,the potholder thing on the handle of the skillet was crusted over with something. Filthy. The sign on their door says review on google,well here it is. Our server did fix us a to go order my mother wanted,so I tipped him 6$. He doesnt realize he could have made 10-15$ in tip from me if he had been worth tipping. I wasnt going to tip at all until he was prompt and courteous about the to go order. I tip well for good service,because its not always an easy job. But this guy had no excuses,there were only 3 occupied tables in the place.

The service was terrible. Had three different servers. One forgot the tortillas that came with the melted cheese queso chorizo funding. It got so cold, the cheese HARDENED before they bothered to come check on our food! One forgot that I asked for no cheese on mine. Tamales were COLD and HARD. Worst ever. The beans were dry and crusty. They sat carrying on by the bar and playing around rather than working. They never ONCE checked on how our food was after seeing how badly theyd messed up! It took them 20 MINUTES to check the First time!!! To make matters worse, we had to ask for our own check and get OUR OWN box for the food that was edible to at least feed the strays. Then, the hostess asked how our meal was. When Im responded, "The service was awful," she ignored us! To make matters worse, I then said that it is usually customary to st least apologize for terrible service. She just stared at me like she could not care less. As we left, we could hear her complaining to the servers... No. We didnt leave them a tip- they gave horrible service and couldnt even care if the order was right. Never again. Maybe McMinnville is just used to crappy service. This place sucks.

EXCELLENT!!! food, service and prices. The very best Taco al ambre Ive EVER eaten!! Where are you Bobby Flay? I believe this chef would beat you in a throwdown. Im VERY impressed, whod have known this little Mexican restaurant in McMinnville would serve such fresh and flavorful food?? We will definitely be back for more...worth the drive from Nashville!! Felicitaciones La Cazona Mexican Restaurant, you deserve great success.

These guys have continued to improve their food and drinks, ambiance, and service. I love their fresh table-side guacamole. One time, they let me race one of their waiters in a one on one to make the guacamole faster. Lots of playful banter and laughs - of course, I lost. The mangonada is superb, especially with a little extra spice. Perfect place for groups!

First time here. I took my husband for his birthday and it was great good.well worth the money. Only complaint is wine is served cold - which they exchanged with other at no cost.ty. And they sit everyone on top of you even when there is a lot of openings. And service was little slow at first but was good. We will definitely be back

Its a nice place to have a date or bring family. Love that they have corn cake and good salsa. Also love their pollo melanesa and I think they might be the only place in mcminnville that you can find the Molcahete (spelling?). There service is a hit and miss though. I usually go when its busy so its hard to get a refill sometimes.

It is still there, but I NEVER go there, because it is the WORST service of anywhere I have ever been period... I liked the food, and I didnt go for years, went back recently and guess what? HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE..... I will not go back again

Like their food but sometimes service can be slow. I ordered a full plate but because it was lunch time only received the main item. This was not explained when I ordered. Also had to ask 3 times for eating utensils. They were not that busy.
