I went in tonight at 7pm. It was quite busy, but I was in no hurry. I asked to speak to someone to place an order because I wanted to buy breakfast for my 12 employees for the next morning. She pointed to the manager ( a tall older gentleman) that was working the busy register. When it came my turn in line I gave him my request and he looked perturbed and told me to step aside and would get someone to take my order. Through his microphone on his smock he requested someone to come take my order and for assistance at the register. Two ladies came up and began yelling at people in line "NEXT." Several were startled. The manager then came over to me and said what are you wanting? I said I would like to order breakfast for 12 at 7:30am. They open at 6am. He said I know you want breakfast, how do you want it? He still appeared perturbed. I said however you normally cater for 12 and asked how they did. He snapped back that they cater all the time and smirked at me and said Im asking HOW you want it served. He was short with me and rude. I told him to forget it and I would go elsewhere. He needed a smoke break obvously. This surprises me for A MANAGER at a CRACKER BARREL :( I am disappointed and my employees will be, as well. Be happy you are busy! Job security!

Dont get me wrong Im a huge fan of Cracker Barrel, but tonight was my worst experience yet. The biscuits were either burned or Rock Solid. Nothing ever came to us when we asked it too we had to remind our wait staff multiple times just for basic things like napkins. My dumplings were cold and everything seems like its been sitting on the counter for a solid 10 minutes before we got it. Im not sure if we just got the one off night or if this one is just know not to be a good Cracker Barrel, but Ive been to at least 50 Cracker Barrels in the US and this one makes me want to give it one star. The meatloaf was dry and disgusting the sugar cured ham slice was as thin as a piece of paper in the size of a coaster. I did love our waitress though she was very sweet and kind when was fun with my kids and when she did remember to bring us our stuff that we asked her for she was quite enjoyable.

Its been 10 years since weve been to a Cracker Barrel resturant and this vist reminded us why. The breakfast selections are minimal. It looks like a big menu but its just various combinations of eggs, pancakes and various meats with some potatoes, biscuts and grits throw in. No skillets, burritos or even omelets ... boring. Youd think they could get those few items right but the eggs were rubbery, the hashbrowns were bland (tasted like frozen) and the hashbrown casserole was cold. Why are these places always crowed? Which is another downer .. being noisey and crowded.

I walked in to place an order to go. I ordered the "Grilled Chicken Tenders Dinner". It comes w/6 tenders & 3 sides. A manager brought it out on a tray and we walked over to a small podium. She showed me my order, then bagged it. Usually its in a bag already. I was very pleased. Too often, I take the bag back to work and discover the order is wrong in some way. This new system is great. I got what I ordered and the food was delicious! I ate til I was full and I still have enough food for lunch the next day. Great job Cracker Barrel!

Im a big fan of Cracker Barrel BUT the lebanon location is routinely a disappointment. Between the poorly cooked food and the clueless staff, I usually decide to just make the drive to Mt Juliet instead. Im told this location does a lot of "training" since its so close to corporate. I dont understand why they do this...youd think theyd want their home location to be the flagship restaurant! But compared to the dozens of other locations Ive eaten at, this one ranks at the bottom.

Always good food and great service. Only complaints are problems with take-out orders being correct and the crowds they have sometime, but mostly, the seating there is sooooo uncomfortable! Those chairs HURT if you have back and leg problems and they have many tables too close together. I hate bumping other peoples seats trying to get in and out with my back hurting and legs gone numb from the chairs!

What can you say about Cracker Barrel that hasnt already been said? These restaurants, as a whole, have outstanding quality and value. Their menu, while keeping a homey feel, also has a contemporary flare to it. Whenever I am in Lebanon, Tennessee I make it a point to dine here at least once. Ive always enjoyed the food, the people, and the experience overall.

The food was great but the hostess decided because my daughter and grandchild were not present at the time she wanted us to wait .. Because hhhj out do not see the ppl at the time dose not mean they are not running late .. She kept asking if she was here yet and wanted us to wait I have never heard of waiting untill your whole party is there to be seated ..

The dumplings i had were under cooked, the fried apples were almost cold and lacking taste. I waited for over ten minutes to get a refill on my drink. And it was not that busy. Also, my server tried way too hard for her tip. As far as cracker barrels go, this one is quite subpar. Maybe the cooks had an off day, but my experience here was not that great.

When Im close to a Cracker Barrel Resturant, I try my best to stop in and have breakfast. I went to the one in Lebanon, Tennessee on South Cumberland Street to get take out when we lived there. But were back in Counce, TN. now so Im going to Janes Diner and occasionally Subway or Redwood Hut. They are all excellent places to get "GOOD FOOD"!

I came here with my 5-year-old daughter. We love Cracker Barrel and its well known for excellent customer service... But here I waited 33 minutes for service... And it was slow and they had 5 waitresses. I dont know what happened. I never give low reviews but being forgotten for 33 minutes was not a great first impression.

Great food, great service, great portions and great prices! All in all a fantastic place, especially for a chain! Rarely will I ever have a complaint about cracker barrel and its never about the food or prices. Occasionally will get a server having a bad day or that is new but other than that its the best!

I did two large family to go orders and some add on to feed 26 people. It was ready on time and two employees checked it and made sure I had all my extras too. They then insisted on carrying to my car for me. Everything was great and I didnt have to cook! I was very impressed with the customer service.

I love eating at Cracker Barrel, just not this one. Any of the others in Tennessee are good, but this sucks. Most of the time the food taste old and isnt warm upon being served. Since this is where C.B.s head quarters is located, Id expect it to be the best of them all. What a let down.
