Terrible place to eat. I went out to have fun with some friends and ordered the half steak and half chicken fajita for two. It was 7/10 vegetables, 1/5 chicken ,and 1/10 steak which I believe was a complete rip off for a $22 charge. The waiter was terrible, had no enthusiasm to serve, had a terrible attitude, and expected a 20% tip for doing what he is supposed to be doing with the attitude of you shouldnt make me work more than I have to. Also, the man in charge of the register did not know how to count. I gave him $39 in cash and asked to put the rest ($6) on my card and he had to count it five times and continued to stop after the three tens when he got to the $1 bills as if he didnt know what the value of a $1 bill was. Terrible experience, I will never go back, and I would not recommend it to anyone who would like to have a good, lively dinner.

I ordered for 4 people and tried to use a coupon and the manager said that it was for sit in customers only when it didnt say that anywhere on the coupon (right location, not expired, everything about it checked out). I asked him about it and he said "only sit in coupons are allowed" which I replied that was absurd. After some persuading he honored my coupon and gave me my meals and when I went to pay he said "here take it, we dont want your business" he gave me my food for free but then banned me from the store...they also didnt get one meal right. Dont go here.

Great food but horrible horrible service. I ordered one cheese dip and the manager brought out 2 and I said I only asked for one and he told me I ordered 2 and Im paying for 2 and I said no I ordered one and he kept going back and forth and called the police and caused I whole scene. I left and never came back again. Do not go to el mezcal.

I have been living in an apartment here in Collierville for over a year now and am within walking distance of this restaurant. They have change menus a couple of times but the food is much better than mediocre. I love their tamales and the service there is fantastic!

Good Mexican food. Friendly and attentive staff. My preference is the quesadilla supreme. But I hate when they try to put us in the side room. The noise in there is too loud for an enjoyable conversation why you eat.

Good, fast service and decent Mexican food. They have a Pokestop inside their restaurant as well. Staff did not seem to mind us staying there a bit longer than normal after finishing our food.
