This is the best Mexican restaurant in Ocean Springs. But before you get too excited, consider that this is the best Mexican restaurant....in Ocean Springs. My fajitas were really tasty - I got veggie, which included carrots! The veggies were cooked to perfection, imo which is just cooked retaining some crispyness. My bf got a pork dish which was also good according to him. He also really enjoyed the queso dip. The guacamole - while not fresh out of the avocado, was very good, comparable to Wholy Guacamole brand. The only caveat was the margaritas were far from extraordinary. Also, the decor is festive, but when you first walk in the door you may mistake it for a sally beauty supply store - but try to overlook this and enjoy the food.

I just love La Casita Mexican Restaurant it has great food. I was there about three or four weeks ago and everything was great.The service was fast and we were hungry and everything was very good.I live in Mobile,Al and one of our top mexican restaurants had nothing on Lacasita and I rather go to Ms to Lacasita then to go in Mobile,Al mexican restaurant.My five year god daughter Kay Kay love La Casita she always wants to go there she likes the food and the owners.Every trip I take there is always on my facebook pictures of the food and letting my family friends know when their in town to go La Casita in OceanSprings,Ms

A wonderful experience! In the past, Ive never much enjoyed Mexican food, however this was not the case at La Casita. The waiter had an enjoyable personality and was very prompt. The food was superb - excellently spiced, individually cooked, and skillfully prepared. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone with a taste for Mexican, or those just passing through the region. Easily the best Mexican restaurant to be found in Ocean Springs. Great service, great prices, great food! Truly an excellent restaurant!

Went to this restaurant based on previous reviews and can only assume it recently changed owner. Order the steak fajitas and I had more steak at a Taco Cabana Restaurant. Where is the beef!!! Over priced for the portion of meat. Definitely nothing to write home about. Loved when the waiter said to our leftover fajitas stuff, look you can have a vegetarian fajita.

The food was cold. The inside of the enchiladas was ice cold. The beans were cold and runny and the rice hard and tasted old. They offered to microwave it but we left after paying. The floor was dirty and grit on the table. I am a published auther and I have written reviews on Mexican restaurants before. This is a 1/4 star because the parking is good.

California Super Burrito (steak and replace the red sauce with cheese sauce) is what I always get. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants on the coast. Service is great and most of the time the food is out before you finish your chips and salsa.

The owners and staff are very nice people. And the food is excellent. I love their vegetarian options like the spinach quesodilla. I have eaten there about a dozen times without a single bad experience and the food is hot and delicious every time.

Basic menu. No frills. Limited adult beverage selection. Small and tight dining area which results in your hearing your neighbors screaming two year old, all too well.
