KFC is always tasty, thats for sure, but they really need to do something about their buffet bar! The buffet is a GREAT idea, but they need to do a much better job keeping it stocked with FRESH food, especially the chicken, need to work on a better variety and need to keep it cleaner. The chicken sits there until the bitter end, getting so picked through that all the crust falls off and its laying there, naked and nasty looking. They only allow serving from one end of the bar, therefore food from the back drops into the front and, well... you get the idea. I have been to other KFC buffets and the Cookeville buffet gets a negative rating from myself as well as many others I have spoken to.

Ive been coming to this particular KFC for years, and for the last year or so the service has plummeted. Half the time I go through the drive-thru, I wait in line forever, and by the time I finally get to the window they tell me: "Were out of original chicken. Would you like something else?" You bet I would. Id like a KFC that doesnt run out of -chicken-. I cant count the number of times theyve got my order wrong, either. Unfortunately, this is the only KFC in town, so Im stuck with it, but I think Ill wait until they get new management before ever even thinking about giving these idiots my business again.

I work very close to this KFC and I go there from time to time and it seems that no matter when you go they take one order then go make it do a few drive through orders then come back to take the next while you just stand there... doesnt it make more sense the get all the orders in and then go help make them? Wait time 10 mins to get your order taken from time you walk in the door.... other then that great place to eat!

Went to get some chicken at lunch time, and turned around and left. Floors and lower walls were disgusting, and smelled of dried grease and dirt. This is the second time I went at lunch and doubt I will go back. Only one fast food restaurant in town actually keeps their floors clean, and they stay busy all day...maybe if I tried the drive thru?

Worst customer service Ive ever had at this location. Drive through staff looked like they would rather be dead than serving you. Then once I got home I realized they gave me the wrong thing. Wont be returning here anytime soon.

Buffet was pretty well depleted of nearly everything. Even had to tell staff sweet tea was empty. Admittedly, this is atypical of this restaurant. Other times it was pretty good, so it may be somewhat inconsistent.

Good place needs faster service with all the help in the back people should not have to stand for 20 min to place order for dine in service while cashier is filing drive thru orders
