Lets begin with the strengths of this pizza joint. Im from the greater NYC area, and so far this is the closest thing Ive found to "New York style" pizza in this area. The cheese was on point and they used the perfect amount, the dough was cooked well, slightly less crunchy than New York pizza. Ive given it 4 stars for these reasons, and I will continue to order pizza from here. Now for the negatives: This place looks like a building straight out of Fallout 4. I drove past twice thinking the building was abandoned. The dough was good, but had that tenessee tap water aftertaste which I suppose is unavoidable unless they buy a water filtration system. The sauce was a bit too sweet and lacked seasoning. A little basil/oregano/garlic/bay leaves goes a long way and is rather inexpensive. I wouldnt choose to eat here in New York, but for Clarksville this place is as good as it gets.

It is dirty, eating there the owner or cook came out of the back bringing the table a pizza with snot dangling out of his nose and down the front of his shirt. The bathrooms are dirty nasty and atrocious. I am utterly surprised they still have their health and sanitation rating to be open to serve food let alone be a place people want to go. This place should be shut down as it stands. If the owner operator would take the time to clean it up seal the roof so it quits leaking onto your food and your drinks clean up the bathrooms clean up his staff and not have snot dripping flu infected pneumonia spreading personnel working in the kitchen dripping theres not under the table and peoples food. Do yourself a favor save your money on doctors bills save your money in agony at a hospital and order from Papa Johns or Pizza Hut or Dominos anybody else

Both my husband and I are originally from New Jersey and we just moved to Clarksville a few weeks ago. Good pizza is hard to find in the south. I personally have high standards when it comes to good NY/NJ pizza, but I can say that NYPD-New York Pizza Depot definitely lives up to our expectations. My husband said the buffalo wings were some of the best hed had, they werent spicy but they were very good. The pizza I ordered was a classic north eastern pizza, delicious! The food was freshly made, pepperoni looked to be hand cut, and the food was not greasy. The staff was extremely welcoming and the restaurant was clean. We will definitely be returning to NYPD in the future, and when they move to their new location. I will also be recommending them to others as well!

I only gave two stars because I didnt want to be too rude but this place is Not it. Before me and my husband decided to go I looked at all of the great reviews and I just knew that I wouldnt be disappointed. Boy was I wrong. The wings are okay but the pizza is repulsive, I nearly died from all the sodium and I couldnt even enjoy it. If there was a such thing as Pizza in a can , this would be it. If this is how NY does it , Ill never go . Your Welcome, Good Luck your gonna need it to survive the hypertension.

BORN NEW YORKER APPROVAL. I legitimately love this place so much. Firstly, its far and away the best pizza in Clarksville. Any other pizza joint is an easy 3 steps down. The pizza is so tasty, not greasy and you can fold it like a typical NY slice. My parents came to town and gave it their stamp of approval too! The only thing I wish is that they had eggplant as a topping. Im an Italian - what can I say?

Heard from a friend about this place. Lived up to their description of the place. Ordered their pizza. Definitely delicious. Its far superior to the fast food pizza chains around here. Crispy crust, flavorful toppings, gooey cheese. Classic goodness. Ours was done quick; just a 15 minutes wait. An absolute must try if you want fresh made pizza from somewhere besides a store or a fast food chain.

Maybe i just went on a bad day or something, because my entire family agreed we wouldnt go back. My hubby is from ny so i consider him pizza spoiled, but my mom, son, and i also did not enjoy the pizza. All the toppings tasted like they came from a can or were prepackaged and cheap as possible. There are many other places in town with better pizza i think

There isnt anything better in Clarksville, dont waste your time looking. The pizza is fantastic! Garlic knots are to die for and wings....omg say no more! The staff is friendly and they aim to please each and every customer with a New York smile:-) thank you NYPD for spreading the love here in Clarksville!!!!

Got the "New Yorks Finest" and I was very impressed with how good the pizza is here. It is a new and little place. Hopefully more people hear about it and this place takes off. Also I got garlic knots and I was pleased to find they were not soaked in grease like most places. Very good quality food.

We ordered take out, but the service we received while on the phone placing our order and then picking up was great. Very friendly. The pizza was good. The calzone was delicious. But the wings by far were the best thing we ordered. They were some of the best wings weve ever had.

These guys are the "REAL DEAL"! New York Pizza never tasted soooo good especially when you havent been able to find "GOOD PIZZA"! They have "MASTERED" the fine art of Pizza! If you are looking for "AUTHENTIC NEW YORK BROOKLYN STYLE PIZZA" this is the place to come to.

The pizza is so good. Reminds me of the pizza from back home(NJ). Once you have this pizza you are not going to want pizza from those national chain pizza places. You will pay a little more but it is totally worth it. The large pepperoni pizza was just under $18.

Awesome exactly what I would expect pies out of a stone brick oven to taste like. I had the new york-style crust really delicious very pricey though over the commercialized pizza chains but sometimes you just got to have a real pie

Literally the best pizza in Clarksville. And the service is awesome. We ordered a pizza and the oven baked a small hole in a piece of it.....they gave us a new pizza and that one for free. Highly recommend if you like great pizza

As close as your going to get around here. Tasted very authentic. The only thing that it needed was more grease. Also i wish they served by the slice all day instead of just at lunch. All in all a great slice!

The bold guy, assuming hes the owner, was rude and made us wait for 40 mins for a slice of pizza. Besides the fact of the place looking like it was built by left over pizza crust.. The pizzas not too terrible

Best pizza in town. Each pizza is unique, authentic, and handmade. Nothing else can compare. The hand cut pepperonis and made fresh pizza sauce just blows every other pizza place out of the water.
