Pros: Located all throughout Tuscaloosa, AL Fast service Cheap prices Very nice staff Cons: Horrible food Personal Experience: This restaurant is a fast food chain similar to Taco Bell, but far worse quality food. Its a chain that Tuscaloosa natives seem to rave about it without fail, however, I cannot see why (probably because it originated in Tuscaloosa) . The food is a little under Taco Bell quality with similar prices and atmosphere. The staff is incredibly nice, and the place is very clean and well kept; the food just isnt good. Maybe its an acquired taste but I will not be attempting to get accustomed to it. Taco Casa has everything an amazing restaurant needs, except higher quality food.

It makes me want to leave this horrid state. The taco meat is injected with synthetic ignorance and docility, meaning every bite brings you closer to the true Tuscaloosa spirit. If you can imagine chargrilled powdered dish detergent stuffed into a week old semen sock, then you can imagine the burritos. The tacos cradle soggy lettuce and the same chargrilled dish detergent as the burritos. I fear that I have eaten too much for I am no longer motivated to drive away from this town. I am longing for the excretion of this vile matter out of my bowels, out of my mind, and out of my soul. I do hope that this monumental movement will be the last ball and chain this town has on me.... I will see

It has been here for a long time and they serve good food. May b a bit expensive compared to taco bell. I am masood. Used to know its founder mr wilkinson or something. I have visited this location after 30 yrs. Glad to see it is still here but did nt c many customers. I wish the owner best of luck....

Hands down the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. Shockingly bad. Chips were stale, cheese was already coagulating right after going through the drive through. Ive only eaten there once so maybe I had a bad experience, but I wont be risking another attempt.

May not be "authentic" Mexican food but its the best ever. My family and I could eat here every single day and when my daughter and her family come back to town to visit they honestly do eat here everyday. Way way way better than taco Bell ever could be.

This is one of those places thats "so bad its good," and something I look forward to every time I visit! The good is so cheap, but so tasty, and just perfect for a college town! Excellent sweet tea, and great hours for those late night snacks!

I love taco casa tea..but I cant say anything good about the soft tacos.. Everytime I go to the 15th Street location and get a taco it is cold..I love the notthport location I have never been disappointed there..great people and great food..

Generous prices but less than generous servings of beef or chicken. The unique taste of Taco Casa makes the soggy drive thru tacos bearable. An authentic Mexican Restaurant is a much better family value.

I think The Casa is an acquired taste and it took me living here five years to get into it. It is good, cheap, fast mexican food. Cannot be compared to Taco Bell b/c it is just not the same kind of food.
