This is a great place to come and hear up-and-coming singer-songwriters. However, you are in the lounge of a Holiday Inn so bring your wallet , especially if you expect to rent a room they start at in the 200 but that is pretty average for the downtown Nashville area , secure free parking the lounge will validate your parking ticket and they have a large patio smoking area for folks in the lounge area. Occasionally you will hear writers of hit songs performing these are usually on the Friday and Saturday night sets.

We went to Nashville for open mic nights and went to the Commodore Grill for Sundays open mic. Surprisingly, we think it was the Best of the Nashville venues. It was very classy and clean. The sound system was great. The performers were very talented. The atmosphere was relaxed. And Deb Champion could not be any nicer or more professional. We would recommend it to anyone looking to do open mic night in Nashville.

Really good food. We went on a songwriters champion night and were able to hear some amazing up and coming artists. The food was a little pricey but worth it for the entertainment. We ordered the nachos, Hugo Salad and the bacon cheddar bbq burger. All were delicious. Stop by for the music and get something to eat while youre there.

Wait, what am I doing hanging out in a Holiday Inn? Listening to amazing music, thats what! Awesome singer-songwriters have played here every time Ive been. Skip the tourist bars and cover bands and come here for the real thing. Or, better yet, keep going to those places and leave this one for me!
