8/5/17--Ive eaten at First Watch a handful of times and today I had my 1st negative experience.. First of all, food is great and the environment is great but gives off "privileged only" vibes as soon as you walk through the door. Tables are always fully stocked as far as sugar, glasses, coffee creamers, etc. Overall its a good place to dine. Would have given it 4.5 stars BUT... Back to my negative experience.. I took my friend there who has never been to this location. I HIGHLY recommended it due to awesome service I received in the past. Before we could sit we were asked what we wanted to drink by the server, feeling rushed. (Servers name was Megan btw. She didnt introduce herself, got her name from the ticket.) Megan gave more customer service to the table next to us. Brought them water, filled their cups without asking. Checked on them regularly, asking if everything was ok. Me and my good friend received NONE of the above mentioned. Although Megan wasnt rude she just didnt do the little things for us that would have guaranteed that extra tip. Overall, poor experience today and just becuase of Megans actions and the little things she did that ruined our expectations of great customer service I will not be eating at this location in the future and neither will my friend. Thanks Megan for making us feel underprivileged today at First Watch.

If you come on a Saturday expect a comfortable wait of 10-15 minutes, a wait that is made infinitely easier by the complimentary coffee just inside the door adjacent to the host booth. Casual family atmosphere, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Clean and well supplied restrooms. The skillets are excellent as are the eggs Benedict. The gravy was also surprisingly good (though dont expect a traditional sausage gravy, but still try it, its very good). Minor food service no-nos (such as a hair in the food on one visit, and a small piece of black spatula amidst the potatoes on another) are the only things keeping me from giving it a 5 out of 5. Weve been to several of these locations and of them all this is probably the coolest location of the batch! Overall an excellent, vibey, early morning Nashville destination!

I went to First Watch for the first and last time today. My friend and I both got the traditional breakfast, and my scrambled eggs were so over done that they were green and hard. The breakfast potatoes seem like theyre just boiled potatoes that were dry and just cubed and thrown together with some dry little onions. There was absolutely no seasoning on the potatoes. The ham was good and so was the Belgian waffle I ordered on the side. My friends food came 10 minutes before mine, but her toast didnt arrive until after my food and we both had to ask them to bring our toast because they forgot it. Im not sure what everybody else ate that garnered such good reviews, but if you cant get a simple breakfast right, Im not going back to try anything else.

The food was pretty bad. My eggs Benedict was really disappointing, as were the "seasoned" potatoes which were dry and flavorless. The eggs were cold, as was the ham (cold cuts), and bread on the Benedict. The waiter also forgot an order of bacon and I had to remind him it came with bacon on the menu after he questioned my inquiry. The atmosphere is fine but after trying first watch twice I will not be returning. The food is simply not good enough for the price. Even if it was cheaper the food still wouldnt be good enough.

Beware if you have food allergies or religious or even personal dietary restrictions. Ordered a vegetarian skillet hash and found multiple pieces of bacon scattered throughout. Was given a discount on the bill and apologized to, told that the meat and veggies are next to one another and they may have accidentally fallen in. Probably will not return because it seems like the people working in the back are not paying attention to their orders and/or the organization or cleanliness of the kitchen may be questionable.

The food here is good. Hence the 2 stars. But the service is a -2. After waiting 10 minutes for a refill, I had to ask the server to get me one. I have been here 3 times giving them a chance. Mainly because the food is good. But the service gas been the same every time. I am starting to think it is a manager problem. I wish they would fix this.

I really like the First Watch chain. Its typically great and really fresh with recipes that are creative but not trying too hard. This location however is not good. Service is bad, I had ants all over my table, and grits tasted like dirty dish water with zero salt. Save yourself the hassle and drive 5 mins to the other location down the road.

Oooooh...... If you want to pay $18.64 for cheese eggs, biscuits and gravy, and bacon, then this is the place for you! Ridiculous!!!!! Not to mention they cant cook potatoes (sent back twice and gave up). Very disappointing. I spoke to the manager, even though I dont like to be "that person", but I will NOT be back.........

I havent had anything bad on the menu yet. My co-workers and I met here for lunch and this location has open seating section (long table seats about 12) and you can just walk in and sit down like you would at a bar and order your food. No waiting to be seated. we were in and out in 45 minutes with time to walk back to work. :-)

The waffle was light and crispy - just how I like it. The scrambled eggs, linked sausage, and breakfast potatoes were all good. And the service was attentive and friendly. The Bacado (omelet with bacon, avocado, cheese, sour cream and pico de gallo) was very tasty as well.

The millionaires bacon was good.. definitely recommend it. The Barbacoa Benedict was a little heavy but very good. The restaurant was brightly lite with natural light and wait staff are attentive without being pushy. Will come back!

Damn, this food was good. The table has water and coffee, so you dont have to wait on the waiter/waitress. Not that I would have to, they were still frequently checking in on us. Great visit will go again.

The food is very good. The coffee is very good. The place is busy busy. The staff was a bit too rushed, they seemed understaffed. Good thing they give you a carafe of coffee.
