I dont want to write a negative review because it was a nice place and the owners were extremely wonderful people. My autistic son got away from the table while I was paying and my mother thought he was coming to find me(Im was a little more than upset). As I was walking back to my table I noticed my son just hanging out at a table with 3 people and they reassured me he was okay and that they didnt mind him there(my mom recognized the man and we looked it up and it was the owner and his wife). When I tried to get my son he turned back and gave one of the women a big hug and that is saying a lot since my son doesnt give affection to anyone but me really. That made me want to love the food even more! Sadly I wasnt as impressed with the food as everyone else seems to be. The first time I tried to eat here the line was so long we went somewhere else. I live in a different state so I waited another two months to finally go. We ordered a little bit of everything and everyone just kinda shared. We were all very disappointed sadly. The biscuits were just okay, and the gravy wasnt any better. Non of the children ate their food. My son normally will devour any bread and bacon since he doesnt every get to eat it at home. He took a few bites but then pushed it away. I was so hoping to love this place!!!!!! there is a positive side to this story though, the steak, eggs and cheese grits I ordered was probably the best steak and eggs Ive ever had! The grits and potatoes were wonderful as well! If they were closer to Murfreesboro I would definitely return for some steak and eggs during my trips. I am a more harsh critic though, being a cook myself I pride myself on my biscuits and gravy. Living in Mississippi doesnt help either, there is a small town called Corinth and they have the best biscuits in the WORLD! Okay, I MIGHT be exaggerating but I have done a fair amount of traveling and Abes biscuits in Corinth, MS hasnt been beat. My review is not to stop people from trying this charming place, but to give an honest review. Also i will be trying this place again in hopes it was an off day!

Date Visited: 10/17/2015 Let me first start by saying this, there is absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to this place. The only true complaint I can even come up with is that theres only one location. The line, while long, as accurately stated in previous reviews, does move quite efficiently. I had the Bonuts, and a Nasty Princess. The Bonuts were amazing. In all honesty, the accompanying Blueberry Compote isnt needed. The Bonuts alone are good enough to stand on their own. While I wouldnt recommend the Nasty Princess for breakfast, due to its incredible spicy heat, its perfect after 12. This could quite possibly be one of the best things Ive ever eaten. Every individual component is a meal within itself. The biscuit is sturdy enough to maintain its consistency under the weight of sausage gravy, cheese, and chicken. The sausage gravy is so meaty & hearty it could qualify as a chowder. The gravy is peppery and blends nicely with the spice from the sausage, but not too thick or salty which would be easy to do if the gravy was seasoned separately. The chicken thigh was crunchy, and flavorful. The breading was light, crunchy and just as flavorful as the chicken itself, which was very tender, moist, and juicy. You should give this place a visit, but dont let the long line fool you...its there for a reason and this place has earned it.

I wish I wasnt hungover when I came to Biscuit Love. My friends and I came in for Sunday brunch at around 11:30, and it was about a 45 minute wait. You order at the counter, they seat you, and then they bring you your food. To start, shared the Bonuts (Fried Biscuit Dough, Lemon Mascarpone, Blueberry Compote). Aside from the blueberry compote, which was too sweet for me, it was pretty good. I really liked the lemon mascarpone. However, I cant imagine eating more than one of these as they were kind of heavy (or maybe this was just my hangover talking) For my main, I went with the Bill Neal (Cheese Grits, Gulf Shrimp, Mushrooms, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Lemon Tabasco Sauce, Green Onion). Now, I normally wouldnt order grits but the cheese part got me. Plus - three of my favorite? Bacon, shrimp, and tabasco? Whats not to love! I enjoyed what I was able to stomach. Again, if I was not hungover, I definitely would have been able to enjoy this more and eat the entire thing. My only gripe is the green onion. I do like green onions but these were big chunks of them. They should have been more finely chopped (in my opinion) so as to not overpower the flavors of everything else. I would come back only if there was no wait but based on these other reviews, that doesnt seem likely.

Came here on a Friday morning for brunch. Line was about 20 people ahead but moved fairly quick. They have some water outside for those hot summer Nasvhille days. When you get in you order at the counter and I believe seat yourselves? I was last to order of my friends. We shared some bonuts which were pretty good. I also ordered the East Nasty and it was delicious. They give you a giant piece of chicken and it was very moist. It also took a few minutes to get after I ordered which was really fast and had me surprised that there was a line outside based on how fast I got my food. Im not a huge fan of biscuits as I think theyre kind of dry after a few bites. This was was the same case. It helped that there was sausage gravy on my chicken sandwich. I also tried a piece of sausage that my friend ordered as a side for his omelette. I wasnt a fan of it as it was more of a smoked deli type sausage. Overall I wouldve loved to come back and try some other stuff as everything looked delicious. My friends all seemed to enjoy what they got. The pork chops were already sold out at like 12 o clock... which makes me wonder if its really good.

This place rocked. I drove by the day before and saw the line (it was huge) so i decided to wait. I had an opportunity to hit up the spot with my family just before it closed on a Tuesday. Of course my family had already eaten and wasnt hungry so i was the only one to order. They had some milk for the kids and my wife and i had a drink. The staff was amazing. They did a great job of checking on us and couldnt believe I was the only one to get something. Well when my family saw the biscuit burger come out, their mouths were watering and they started picking at my food. Someone must have noticed becuase they brought them some of the Bonuts. And my family died. Those were so delicious. everything was perfect. Kudos to the staff showing a family from out of town what true southern hospitality is. My little girls were in love with the place, as was my wife and I. I cannot believe that 30 minutes to closing that the staff would be that grateful and excited to have us there. Kudos to management and to the staff. If we are ever back in Nashville again, we will hit up Biscuit Love for sure. FOODIE EXPERIENCE OVERLOAD.
