The Coffee Bar opens at 7am, which makes it the perfect place for early morning meetings with colleagues and/or professors. Im not particularly picky about my coffee this early in the morning, so I ordered the house blend and the barista told me that it was a help-yourself/take-as-much-as-you-need purchase! He gave me a mug and I drank as much as I needed to keep me awake. The atmosphere was inviting and warm, which made me feel comfortable. I had heard that this was a popular place for college students, but now I know why, and I will definitely be utilizing this space more often!

I cannot rave enough about this place. The coffee quality is excellent. Very educated and professional staff. Always up for smiles and good conversation. Beautiful art. Its a place I can spend money at and feel good about because the coffee is sustainable and the farmers are paid a fair wage. They have awesome rewards programs too to get free coffee! Nice indoor and outdoor seating. Inside the coffee shop is Cakehead Bake Shop for awesome homemade baked goods and beside the Coffee Bar is a wonderful book store.

The Coffee Bar is the best coffee spot in Spartanburg(thats my opinion of course) as its affordable and the quality of their coffee is above Starbucks. They also serve tea, smoothies, and frappe which is great for the hot days. Now if you want to indulge your sweet tooth and read a good book theres the Cakehead Bakery (which is located inside of the cafe) and the Hub City Bookstore(right beside it). The only gripe I have is that it has early closing hours and that its closed on Sunday.

Stopped in for a coffee and to do a little work in this coffee shop located in a surprisingly quaint little downtown area of Spartanburg. I really wasnt expecting much, just wanted a place to take a minute while my car was being worked on. I was more than pleasantly surprised by what I walked into. Laid back, nice guys behind the counter serving great coffee in a hip little setting where you can work at a table or kick back in an armchair.

This rating is for the drinks only. Thank goodness for that. Sarah is a really good barista. I could not get any service in the bakery although it was open and NOT busy. The service otherwise was awkward and not welcoming. Apparently.. This is a spot for friends to gather so please bring your own because this crew is odd. The coffee is great!! This place should be as busy as any Starbucks but not until the quality of service moves up.

Great coffee, lots of variety, nice people, quick service. What more could you want from a coffee shop? I usually go several times every week, and Ive never been disappointed. There is a decent amount of seating inside, and a few more tables outside. The walls have quite a bit of local artwork, most of it available for purchase if you really like it. Very neat atmosphere.

My dad and I went in to get a coffee and was completely ignored for 10 mins. A woman walks in and orders 6 different coffees and was served. Maybe because we werent lawyers or young or dressed right. Who knows. This happened on 3-14-17. I will not be returning to this place and will suggest it to anyone either. This place needs a lesson in customer service .

I dont usually spend much time in coffee shops (because I dont drink coffee) but i have got to say that I really enjoy the simple and quiet local coffee shop atmosphere. Every time that I have been here, theres people quietly studying or collaborating. I personally like their fruit smoothies and my fiancé seems to enjoy their coffee quite a bit.

This place has it all! Fast internet (the fastest internet Ive found around), great quality, inexpensive coffee (their regular coffee is just $1 if you bring your mug!!) And friendly staff! I love the set up and all the details. They dont have any gluten free stuff so thumbs down on that one, other than that love this place!

My client recommended this place to me after working out his issue. This was so welcoming when I walked in. I was greeted and offered lots of assistance to making my choice of drink memorable. The attached bake shop offered a nice blueberry scone to go with it. Very relaxing and friendly.

Stopped here in our way to Florida. This coffee was just wonderful!!!! The baked sweets were awesome too. Plus, the staff was super sweet. Were glad we got off the interstate and saw a glimpse of Spartanburg, and enjoyed this awesome coffee shop.

It was a nice place to get coffee and now the time it just too awkward. I finish work at 5pm and can only get there around 6. They now close at 7pm, and that hardly provides any time to open a book. I think Ill be sticking to Starbucks now.

Just what you would hope for in a local coffee shop. Good coffee, lots of tables and a few stuffed chairs to sit at, decent wifi. Plus there is a bakery in the same location with lots of delicious delicacies to go with your cappuccino.

The best non franchise coffee shop around. They get their coffee from Little River Roasters, which makes some high quality roasts.
