The decor, table settings, and homestyle design and food selection made me feel like I was in my grandmothers kitchen, that warm, comfortable, and down home feeling. Music from the 40s, 50s and 60s played on the speakers and matched the decor. Oh, and if you are a techie fan, the force is subtle, but present. My friends and I arrived at Valley Cafe on a Saturday morning just before eight oclock and were the only guests there. By 8:30am the cafe started to fill up and by 9:30, just before we left, there were guests waiting to be seated. Seating seems to be limited to parties of 1 to 5 people. I think we sat at the only table that could seat 5--it was a little crowded at our table, which seemed made to seat four people, but the limited space only supported our community vibe and bonding :). The wait staff attended to our table regularly and I dont think my cup of coffee was ever dry, which I loved. As far as the food, I wish I hadnt eaten so much the night before so I could have ordered what was on the plate of my friends. I enjoyed my Valley Breakfast sandwich with bacon--I dont think you can mess that up. My friends breakfast food made my mouth water. The order of pancakes were stacked three high and went to the edge of the large plate! They looked good! The crowded seating is a negative. I dont know about you, but I prefer to be at least an arms length away from the other guest. One gentleman sitting at his table could have touched another guest with his elbow, maybe. Prince range is around $5 to $13 for breakfast. I would suggest getting their early on a Saturday morning if you dont want to be waiting for a seat.

The service was prompt and polite but the meal (breakfast) was disappointing. I had the Belgium waffle with sausage patties, grits with bacon and cheddar cheese, and coffee. The waffle was too well done and served with a bland and mediocre syrup. The sausage patties were flavorless boxed frozen patties reminding me of brown-n-serves. Im confident they were microwaved as the griddle should not produce such soft, limp results. The grits, though I was assured they were not instant, had the texture of instant. Again, they were bland. The coffee was no better than gas station coffee, though it did taste fresh. The service here is 4-5 star, but the food was very, very disappointing.

So disappointed. I have been coming here for years. One of my favorite breakfast places. Since the opening of the other place it has gone downhill. My food was terrible. My omelet was so overdone and brown I could not eat it. Hardly any butter on the toast. Since BJ has not seemed to spend much time there to cook its not busy. Michaels AM was packed with a 20 minute wait. Valley Cafe had 4 tables of people. BJ needs to come back ad pay attention. Please.

SO GOOD. The staff is always friendly and Ive had phenomenal service here. The food is amazing. Hands down the best brunch place that I have been to in the area (and I have been to a few). Only thing I wish they provide are bloody marys and mimosas for the next day hair-of-the-dog. But usually the food makes up for this. Highly recommend to anyone!

Definitely good for a home cooked meal. I had a three egg omelette with onions, mushrooms, and chorizo. The sausage gravy was good. It was not as spiced as I was assuming it would be. The man had the corned beef and hash. The hash was chunked and tasted pretty good. Overall, a great place for relaxed and delicious homemade food.

The Valley Cafe is a go-to for weekend mornings. Their food is delicious, their portions are hefty, and while youre there, youll feel like family. The restaurant is cozy, with sunny yellow decor brightening and enlarging the space. Best seats in the house are at the counter where you can chat with the staff and the owner.

Great food, great staff - BJ is very personable and always ensures that everyone is taken care of. Ive never had to wait longer than about 5-7 minutes for any given order. Very consistent service and always excellent food - I highly recommend the country fried steak with BJs southern gravy!

Usually an amazing breakfast but today was a disappointment on several levels. The breakfast potatoes were served cold and dry and a extremely long hair was cooked into the waffle we ordered. The staff was gracious and took the item off the bill, but it was disgusting.

A family restauraunt conveiniently nestled in the valley. The food here is good, and doest cost a lot. They have seasonal specials such as hot apple cyder in the fall, and other various things like that. I reccommend this place to all my family and friends!

The staff is very friendly and the food is great too. Your standard, home cooked eggs and toast kind of place. The hash browns were really good. The place is a little crowded, but they are doing some expansion work currently.

Dear B.J. Never again. 17.86$ for mac and cheese , french fries and a coffee!!!! If I wanted a flourie bechamel over noodles with old breakfast sausage, I would have stayed home. Eight raw pieces of garlic and a hair.

Food is amazing! Had the Benny (eggs Benedict) with home fries, taste is definitely a delight for your taste buds. Great atmosphere and fast service also! This is my new breakfast spot.

Always clean, cheerful, and welcoming. Friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced. Enjoy the "oldies" music they play in the background. One of my favorite spots for breakfast.

Huge portions of everything, especially the dinner plate sized pancakes. Only open for breakfast and lunch though. More variety and better quality than other places in the area.

The food is good, but the space is awkwardly, uncomfortably cramped. It is entirely unpleasant to be practicality sitting with the neighboring strangers.

Tried it for breakfast. The place is tiny, but the food was good and the people were very pleasant. Maybe a little on the pricey side, but not bad.

Good food, always excellent service. We eat here probably once a week for breakfast. Table seating needs improvement, can be awkward and close.

Cheese Grit Cakes and Shrimp are phenomenal. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The only downfall was the toast. It was a bit salty.

Atmosphere. This is a beautiful cafe in a beautiful location. It is as if someone took the cafe of your dream and plopped it down in the valley.

Fantastic food and the friendliest people. I was surprised how quickly my party was seated despite the size of the establishment.
