The decor is great! But the license has a "C" rating, the food is bad, and the management doesnt care. I hope someone interested in serving good food in a clean place will buy it when it closes. Seriously, the food is just really bad. The waitstaff were nice enough, but they dont control the kitchen. Our waiter nodded knowingly when we complained, and the manager he summoned didnt care and just offered us more bad food. We accepted, and it was just more bad food. The "salsa" is canned tomato sauce. The food is overcooked or under cooked, but always tough and tasteless. We had the fajitas, pollo fundito, and chili relleno. They were all just bad. The side of beans are thin, and the rice is dry. Nothing was good, twice. Noticed on the way out that the kitchen has a "C" health dept rating. This place should just close. I look forward to new management and will try it again if that happens. There must be more than one location, because people in these reviews who are raving about the food cant possibly be talking about the one in Powdersville in the Bi-Lo Shopping Center. Most are signed up as Google "Local Guides" which means they are playing some kind of Google game for points. I doubt the Google "Local Guides" have even eaten there. I live in Powdersville. I try them on occasion hoping theyve improved. Ive been hopeful that the management and kitchen would improve because it *SHOULD* be THE place to go in Powdersville, but it just isnt. Im done. The Powdersville Taco Bell has better food and a cleaner place. :(

Went there with a few people for work related meeting. We all got drinks but for some reason they gave me a huge drink. Literally they put like 15 shots of tequila in this thing. Im a regular and was pretty unhappy about it. When I asked why they put so much alcohol in my drink the guy replied "because you looked uptight" Ive heard they try to get woman extremely drunk at this los amigos location and I laughed it off but yall it is true! After this experience Im OVER this place and Im telling you I used to eat here once a week! The staff is rude and half of them look drunk lately.....they got rated a "C" and I dont Even have to tell you guys how bad a C is.......its really bad! The food has gone down hill in the past year. Ill stick to le Sereno from now on----at least I know Im getting good clean food and Im not dealing with a bunch of RUDE drunk a**holes who put 15 shots of tequila in my drink Because I "looked uptight" what a bunch of jerks!

Ive been here a few times, but the last was the worst. First of all, the serving staff is great. Friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is also very nice. The best in powdersville. That makes it really sad that the food is substandard. Not sure if its the kitchen staff, management, both. They dont season the meat. I learned that on the first trip. But the last trip on Sunday, March 5 2017, the food was exceptionally bad. I ordered steak fajitas. The meat was in tiny pieces, tough, overcooked and flavorless. The vegetables were mixed in with the meat at a very poor ratio. I had a dinner guest with me, and the food was so bad that I was embarrassed I suggested los amigos. I asked for a manager and explained to her why we were leaving. We had to seek dinner elsewhere and ended up in Easley. Its sad that los amigos has such a poor kitchen. They could be the best place in powdersville if they would just serve good food.

Poor service. Salsa was just cold tomato sauce really gross... Then someone in our group ask no cheese on an item. Then after a long wait we all got our food except for the person who ordered no cheese. So we waited and waited about 20 mins later we finally stop someone walking by to go check on his food. Then the manager said they could make his food without and that the waiter should have told him that... To which we said OK so what can we do he still would like to clear something. So he asked for another item and we wait for that to be cooked. All in all it was taken care of but it was a lack of communication. I dont know if the kitchen told the waiter and the waiter didnt tell us of the issue or what but something wrong happened and no one seemed to care that a customer was not being taken care of. I would not go back or recommend anyone to go. After poor service the food was bland and nothing special.

This place is bad. Bad service, bad food, bad customer service.....Just bad in every way. They charged us $13.99 for a shrimp cocktail with only contained 5 shrimp. We complain to the manager.....he said the cocktail should have contained 15 shrimp.. what a lair. He didnt offer to reduce the bill. Avoid this place at all cost.

Always decent food. Sad they got a bad DHEC inspection grade, but lets hope they improve whatever it was that they fell short on. Personally, Ive never witnessed anything that bothered me, seems clean and as stated - the food is typical Mexican fare. No disappointments.

When we walked in the door, the staff was unfriendly. After we sat down, the waitstaff was unfriendly. The food was not even good. You would think as we paid for what we didnt even like, the cashier would be smiling and friendly. Not even a smile. Will NEVER go back.

This is my familys go-to restaurant for good, cheap Mexican food. They have quick service and we never have had a bad time here. They have a decent bar if you want to have a drink or two. They have good specials and awesome fajitas.

This restuarant has a warm welcoming, the staff is very friendly and the food is very good! There is also a party or meeting room in the back with a bar. I give this restaurant 5 stars.
