You should go! Went twice this week, once as part of the Savor the Low County Food Tour (excellent because we sampled pulled pork nachos with the best baked beans and cole slaw ever, mac & cheese fried things - tasted great. We also went here our first night in Hilton Had because it popped up as the closest restaurant (we were staying at Marriotts Monarch in Sea Pines) in the categories selected on my phone. On the beach, you can walk out to the ocean and come back to eat, and because there is outdoor dining (with a fire pit at night, a nice bonus), you could probably eat here if you were on the beach. You get into the restaurant by entering the Holiday Inn lobby and walking straight through on the left. Roll back glass garage doors open the restaurant to the outside when its warm (its November now, cool at night, so closed at night). We had shrimp and grits (superb) and fish & chips (also pronounced superb). Rum punch was a nice change for a cocktail. Domestic beers were $3 and I forget the other happy hour specials. Good service, excellent view, definitely a keeper for a return vacation. Only complaint was that the restaurant is too dark for our tastes, even in the daytime its a little dark. At night, it seemed almost as dark inside as out. Casual beach vibe. Loved this place. Hard to find if youre not looking for it.

Dont eat the bread!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is nice but unfortunately we were underwhelmed. Long story short, we received two coupons for free breakfast as compensation. It was supposed to be for whatever we wanted to order, but the staff would not redeem it for anything but the breakfast buffet, they would not allow us to order off the menu. My husband grabbed a piece of bread for our among his other food, only to realize after the first bite the bread was completely green covered in mold. My husband has a severe mold allergy and the rest of the day his airways were tight and had some issues with his sinuses and breathing. Upon showing the staff the bread, she literally said "thats gross" and threw it in the trash. No staff went to check the other bread on the buffet, and guests continued to eat off the same bread my husband had found the mold on. I wonder how many people have eaten moldy food from them and didnt even know.

The food is good but the service is horrible. Its as if the waitstaff has had no training. We have had breakfast here 3 times this summer and we cant seem to be greeted by a server. We finally learned to just go to the buffet (which is really well done, we are not normally buffet people ) and hope we get a beverage. We pick up silverware and napkins from the wait station on the way to the table. We so wish this would improve as we love this hotel and the food is surprisingly great for a hotel restaurant. There is no lack of staff, we counted 8 servers this morning and there were 6 seated tables.

Food was great but our server was extremely inattentive. The bartender Peter however was wonderful and picked up the slack of our server. We didnt even know our servers name until the checks came (it was Sasha according to our bill). Food was tasty. Would have been better if Sasha didnt forget to put part of our order in until the rest of the food had been at the table for a good 10 minutes. A quick table check when our food arrived would have been the fix. She needs some more server 101 training.

Our server was super sweet! Shes the only reason I gave 3 stars. The food we had wasnt great. We got appetizers- BBQ meatballs were generic and probably from a package. Hush puppies were really greasy but tasted fine- the honey butter was good. My husband said the pork nachos had no real seasoning, but the coleslaw on top was really good. Basically tasted like generic bar food you could get at any chain restaurant. If you want southern BBQ go to one of the little local places with better reviews.

Great service! The food is edible, thats about it. The tomato salad was wilted, the wings were soft, & the buttermilk chicken was extra crisp ( which would have been great if the skin wasnt burnt while still laced with pink streaks inside). This issue was fixed immediately, but the taste was still overly bland. I did enjoy the string beans & mashed taters (which is the only reason Im giving it 3 stars). But we will find another place to eat for the remainder of our stay :/

terrible dinner. my date and I had chicken and dumpling and stuffed flounder. the chicken was plated on top of the dumpling and didnt taste well. My stuffed flounder was two pieces of the fish with all the stuffing on top of the fish and around it; not in it! Appetizers sliders and nachos were good but for an $83 bill i expected better. Id say if youre going to dine here stick to the appetizers.

"Surf" and turf = 1 shrimp and over cooked filet mignon for $33. Non-existent bar service despite empty bar. No one seems to know what is going on. Ribs are mostly fat. No appetizers unless you are at the bar. Last owners had good food. These new people will hopefully be out of business soon because its an insult to restaurants everywhere and a black mark on Hilton Head.

Our server was nice but the service was terribly slow and it was not busy at all. Waited for at least 10 minutes before someone came to talk to us. The pickles were good, the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were great but my chicken was extremely dry. This place was way over priced especially with the terrible service. I would not recommend nor will I come back.

Went in February 2016 right after it was remodeled. Food was actually very good, had good happy hour specials and a decent beer selection. Their outdoor seating area is pretty nice, we sat at the fire pit next to the pool. Staff was all very nice as well, I believe our servers names were chad and Chaic. Clearly they have done a complete make over of this place.

Went here for dinner while staying at the adjacent hotel. While the food was good, but it wasnt anything special, and youre paying so much more for the location. Beer selection was okay, but they could use a few more taps or bottles. The server was great, but you could tell they were overwhelmed. Place could use some new furniture.
