Sad to see such a great restaurant be ruined by such awful service. Server was not knowledgeable of the menu, which is understandable as it was it second day. However, he spilled our drinks on the table when he brought them. Like I said it was his 2nd day so we gave the kid a pass; however he brought us the wrong salads…we order tossed and he brought out Caesar instead. After a brief wait he returned with the correct salad but with the wrong salad dressing. When I questioned him I was told they didn’t have the salad dressing I requested prepared. I’ve been dining at this restaurant for 16 years and found it very hard to believe they didn’t have any Vidalia vinaigrette onion dressing prepared as it’s one of their signature salad dressings. Luckily we saw a manager walked by and inquired and was told they did have the dressing. I was extremely happy as it was my favorite salad dressing and thought we were done with the hiccups and settling in to have a nice dinner. Unfortunately those were the highlights of the evening. The waiter completely screwed up our dinner order. My husband hates onion and ordered the ribeye without. We pointed it out to the waiter and he asked if he could just scrape them off or give them to me as I ordered onions on my ribeye. On top of that I order mashed potatoes and he brought new potatoes and told me it shouldn’t matter because the mashed and new potatoes were made from the same potatoes. I’m usually a patient and forgiving person but after this blunder I was completely livid. Such deliberate unprofessionalism was completely unacceptable. Once again we spoke to the manger about the incorrect dinner orders. The waiter saw us speaking with the manger and the kid had the nerve to confront my husband and me and asked that we tell him what we spoke to the manger about. I was completely blown away and frustrated at this point. Which clearly shown on my face, since he came back again and said ma’am you looked like you’re still bothered. Oh really….you think kid??? We love the ribeye at Redbone but will not be returning. Please spend more time training your service staff, the food is great but not worth the bad service.

At first I had a long review that was not positive at all. This one is not good either I will just get to the point. All the negatives are true about this restaurant. The food is half cooked especially the crab cakes and the place is not the most cleanliness place. We did not like this place at all, especially after you read reviews that people say it was the best food they ever had. We did not like the atmosphere or the food. Will not eat here again. Stop trying to sit couples without kids in the kiddy section. For those of you who think this is great food get out of Florence, SC and go visit other parts of the country even go to GA, NC, and other cities in SC you may be surprised!

Very upset with the service. We were there for about 3 1/3 hours before we could get our food. We waited for an hour (which they said it was only a 35 minute wait). Then when we asked about the wait time, then our buzzer went off. I ordered coke and the waiter brought me diet coke twice and he told me that he is for sure it was regular coke. It was not, so I just asked for sweet tea. Later we waited another hour to get our food and when I asked for a manager, then all of a sudden our food came out when the waiter saw me going to find a manager. Only thing she said was she was sorry for the wait. I am not a fan of Red Bone but this was my third visit and still unsatisfied!

This is one of the best local restaurants in Florence. They serve Southern style food in a very unique dining area. The restaurant is in an old multi-story building and the interior is decorated to look like exterior seating so it feels like you are sitting outside in somewhere like Charleston while you eat your food. They have a great bar and they also have live music on some nights. They have a great shrimp and grits but my favorite is the chicken leo. They also have a play area for kids and seating on the second floor so you can look down over the balcony. If you are in Florence, make sure to stop here.

The bread, that we were "waiting on" came at room temperature. My mothers french fries were cold. I ordered an appetizer platter as a meal. The pickle chips had been fried in a lump, the puffed triangle thingy was nothing but mush, and the potato chips were chewy. We ordered the apple crisp for dessert. It had been microwaved in the serving bowl and then two scoops of ice cream were dumped on top. The crisp was cold in some parts and searing hot in other parts. Our waiter was lethargic and looked like he didnt want to be there. I dont plan on ever going back and would never recommend this to anyone.

Went to this restaurant for dinner after reading rave reviews. All the chicken items were so dry. Waited at least an hour to be seated yet saw plenty of available tables. Then after waiting all that time, sat down. Wait staff was okay. But the food was not worth the wait. Very disappointed with what I experienced versus all the other reviews. Didnt live up to the hype. Paid to throw away a meal. Waiter wasnt that worried about my experience either. Went home and had a PB&J, which was far better than my meal at RBA.

Excellent Food and Great Service. I am from SC and have heard great things about Red Bone Alley so decided to go. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was delicious. The best Shrimp and Grits I have ever eaten in restaurant. My husband and Mother in law both ordered the Palmetto Marinated Rib Eye Steak and they both loved that. My father in law got the Roasted Chicken BLT and he loved it! Ive seen some reviews that its pricey but I didnt think so. It was around $100 for 5 of us not including the tip.

I loved Red Bone, till tonight when we went and they had changed the menu. Im the type of person that when I find something I like I always get it. Well my favorite item is now not on the menu. I had so much trouble finding something else to eat and when it came to the table it was okay. But it wasnt anything I was excited about. I dont think Ill be going back for awhile. Hopefully theyll bring back the BBQ chicken they had. The BBQ sause went so Great with the chicken, ham and pepper jack cheese.

Very little not to like; the atmosphere is one of being outdoors, indoors. Building facades with an open court makes for a light airy atmosphere, the food is delicious and well prepared and the service is typical for a restaurant of this type. As one might expect the prices reflect the extra upkeep of such a unique atmosphere, so not always my first choice when Im just hungry; but, certainly a place to take guests, or while a visitor to the city, if paying just a little more isnt a problem.
