I went, alongside my family, to "The Lodge" and was more than disappointed. I went strictly for steamers, only to RUDELY be told that "We dont have steamers", and the sign outside baiting people driving by still read "steamers". Following this offsetting news, a family member was disgusted, following a glass of wine with a POTENT smell of bleach. The glass was then handed to the impatient waitress, where she was then asked to smell the wine, responded (in a rude tone, of course!), "It smells like wine." By then we were fed up, and left to go to one of our favorite restaurants, Davenports in Cumberland. This expirence was one of the worst I have ever had at a restaurant, with rude waiters, disgusting glasses, and FALSE ADVERTIZING! I hope this gives you an idea of why NOT to go to "The Lodge" in Lincoln.

The Lodge is a clean, cozy, hometown kind of restaurant with great service and great family friendly food. Went there with the fam yesterday (kids 11, 8 and 4). Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The salad bar is packed with many options and comes with most meals. Weve been here about 5 or 6 times in the last few years and are never disappointed. The burgers are juicy and plump and the fries are hand-cut. The serving sizes are huge. Enough for another entire meal for the whole family today. I suggest the Vermont Chicken - super delicious: chicken with cheddar, bacon and maple syrup over the top. Yum!

I really like the food and service but as a handicap Senior when you enter on the left side of the building the ramp railing is VERY LOOSELY making it uncomfortable walking in also when you enter they have a step into the dining room then when you try to get in up the wood ramp on the other side of the building the floor boards are not only LOOSE they are RAISED to the point of tripping VERY DANGEROUS. When I parked in the only handicap space some one parked behind me in a Nonparking place and BLOCKED ME IN . MAINTAINING THE BUILDING SB A PIORITY FOR HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE

My boyfriend and I went to the wrong entrance being from Massachusetts we couldnt figure out what door to use, but the super nice waitress named Celina opened the locked door for us and immediately made us feel more than welcome. My boyfriend and I ordered fried clam dinners one with fries the other with onion rings. We both had a drink he had a beer but I was a bit more complicated - I wanted a (sweet) drink she was VERY accomadating for anything we asked for without gestation. I will someday for sure come back here. The food was fabulous!!

We went for lunch, only one other group in the entire restaurant and the service was bad. The hamburgers were flavorless, cold, and most likely frozen. I had to send mine back due to the fact that I found a piece of cardboard between my soggy bun and burger. I was told it was from the mushroom package. We ordered sweet potato fries and was served reg fries, ordered cheese, it came with out cheese. We will never go there again and its a local restaurant for us!

It was clean, Ill give you that. The calamari was flavorless & mushy, the fish was rubbery. The waitress took our untouched food and never questioned if everything was okay, in fact, never asked how we enjoyed or liked anything. She was pleasant enough, but did minimal. It was 3:30 so they werent busy. Two people, an app with no drinks runs you about $60, for sure not worth their prices.

On Aug 20, 2008, both dinners were mediocre at best (chicken parmesan and a lukewarm baked seafood platter) and we were charged $8.00 for 2 iced teas and 2 re-fills, no free re-fills on iced tea at this place unlike EVERY other restaurant I have been to. The waitress was nice and told me that they are reminded via a note on the wall to charge for iced tea re-fills.

I havent found a better French Dip sandwich anywhere! The bread is perfect for it. Ive never had a bad meal, and I love the Manhattan Clam Chowder. The service is great with friendly wait staff that make sure youre enjoying your meal. Cant get enough!

Way too pricey for the quality of food. Dinner for two with three cocktails was $75 plus tip. Just nuts. I got sick to my stomach right after getting home. Never order oysters at this restaurant. Best off ordering a burger and a beer.

Friendly server put up with our large, somewhat obnoxious group. She kept all of our orders straight, separated checks quickly and accurately, and smiled the whole way through. Also, tasty food... try the French dip!
