Brooksies Sports Pub is my favorite local hangout. In the past coupe of years it has been purchased by a very nice young couple and they have done a wonderful job of totally renovating the place. The kitchen at Brooksies is all new and spotless and the food is excellent including the Fish and Chips. They also have an excellent takeout food business. I meet and enjoy people from all walks of life at Brooksies and the part of me that is a businessman, filmmaker, and a writer really enjoys being with real people when I go there to relax and have fun. I personally love this place, but its not really for everybody. Its not very crowded ever and its cheap. The bartenders always remember you and what you want to drink.
