We had just moved to Rhode Island and was looking for a decent buffet place. The food here was old, tasteless and dried out. The sushi had only 4 selections. The decor has not been cleaned since this place opened. We were a couple, and they sat us among 3 booths of EBT recipients with loud, obnoxious children that used cell phones as baby sitters with the volume turned up while they played annoying video games. Then they allowed 12 teenage boys to sit right behind us. All loud, shouting and again obnoxious. They had the nerve to suggest a tip as well. This place seriously needs to pay attention to details.

Food is meh. I CANNOT STAND the staff. They are rude and constantly watching you. Especially Black or Hispanic customers! Its like they think youre going to steal something! I dont like the feeling someone is hovering over me WATCHING ME LIKE A HAWK. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. I have NEVER seen so much racism in one place! Oh, and the food here really SUCKS now, I used to go there more often, but now, I cant stand it!

ROACHES! Its not even funny to see another person said they found a roach in the food. I found a roach crawling up the back of the booth as i was getting my coat on to leave. I just kept telling myself it probably came off one of the gross customers this place draws in. I had already eaten and paid so it was just about getting the hell out of that plaza at that point. The entire area is degenerate and full of low class types.

You get what you pay for. Cheap Chinese Buffett with low quality food. Most of the food is left out for long periods of time. Even the habatchi is bad and the meat is rancid. I guess if you catch this place when they bring the food fresh you might enjoy it. As for the staff they are not concerned with their guests. Waited 10 min to get attended. Had to go to the employee area to get my own silverware. Dont expect too much

hong kong shrimp is to die for but i dont like how the staff kept constantly coming over to my kid knowing she was scared and kept crying and he kept grabbing at her arm and trying to pick her up. and since he kept coming over we didnt get to enjoy dinner because he was constantly at the table. wouldnt let us eat in peace. please stop touching my kid and trying to get her to let u pick her up.

Mary&mario we go to this buffet every single month the food is pretty good not bad but the staff is sicking they pressure you in tiping them but the service suck I don't don't mine tipping but you have to earn it and I don't let no one rush me I leave when we are good and ready to I spend my mony there every month some times twice a month hello

Good prices and good food. You can pick from any of the wide variety of foods already prepared, pick from or order shushi, or select ingredients for their hibachi (what I usually get). They have lots of seating and I have never waited more than a few minutes to sit down. If youre too busy to sit down and eat you can always pick from anything for take out.

This is my favorite Buffet. They have an assortment of the fresh food. I usually have mine cooked at the grill. They have excellent crab rangoon. Steam quahogs pepper steak and fried rice than white rice everything is excellent there. I took my Grandma will be at the other day. She love to everything there.

Server suck, string beans, crab stick, potatoes wedges, Hong Kong shrimp was too butter and salty. Sushi was very bad, rice on the sushi was hard. I ate there as of Aug. 28, 2017 is a wasted of food is just too much salt n butter and my stomach is in so much pain because of this place!!

called and asked how much it was per person, they told me $7. but i was charged for $12 each.bill came out to $26 but it was just me and one other person, really annoyed with the piece difference i was expecting under 20 and had only brought 20 with me. food was ok. not really worth it.

Very good food but they bring the payment to quick with out you even asking for the check and hoover over you like if you not going to pay , then come up and tell you to sign the receipt when i paid with a card like i know , like if im going to run out on 32 dollar food check not cool

Food is very good however the floor is very slippery. My friend that uses a cane to assist walking was slipping so bad I thought she was going to fall. She will not be able to go back because of it. There are a lot of elderly that go there and I can see lawsuits happening.

Place is roach infested food is cold and they cant wait to get you out the door .Lots of better places try the Hong Kong In Knightsville I think it on Cranston st, near Phenix ave in Cranston maybe 5 minutes away from Royal Buffet, cost more but well worth it

I go here once a month with a friend. We enjoy the food (usually) but the service is pretty crappy! Always feel like we are being rushed, then when I ask for something they arent very timely getting it. But it is a nice place to meet friends and hang out.

I hated it because dishes were dirty, the beverages stinked like ass, I found like 2 Roches in the yellow rice and a fly in the fruit section and they kept on looking at me, they even got mad w/ my grandpa because he said his spoon and cup was dirty

Went today with my mom, 4 yr old and 2 yr old. For 2 adults, I thought $38 for this buffet is expensive. For $5 more you could eat at Festival buffet at Foxwoods and kids 12 and under are free, better food too. Now I know why I dont come here often.

Everyone is always friendly. The food is tastes good and fresh. The sushi bar is great too. The place is clean and even during the weekend rush, the buffet is kept full and the staff remain calm and pilite. They even take coupons from smartphones!

Whenever I feel like eating a load of good food, I go to Royal Buffet! The only complaint I have is that the staff is constantly up your ying, which makes it seem like they want you to hurry. If it wasnt for this, my rating would be better.

This was my favorite buffet, until I found a dead roach in the marinated cucumbers. Huge disappointment. AND they had the nerve to still make me pay for the sodas...after I brought the roach to the front counter...bill? really?

This place is amazing its has great food and its just a wonderful place to be it is also has a beautiful style . you can even choose your food and they can cook it .the people that work their are really nice .
