The first time I ordered I was impressed with the food, and service. The second time not so much. There was a misunderstanding about my order. I called and in the process of resolving the issue the call disconnected. A hang up, perhaps? The platter I ordered was disheveled it appears as if the food was thrown on the container. The muffins werent uninformed as they were with my first order. Overall I was displeased. The service and disheveled appearance of my food gives me the impression the chef is moody. The woman that answers the phone whom believe hung up on me is moody too. I do business with professionals. Im sorry their service isnt up to my standard. I tried.

I would give 4 1/2 stars if possible. Food is delicious and the portion sizes are excellent (which is very rare to see at a restaurant these days). Friendly mom and pop place that is very clean. Prices are a bit higher than what I would like to pay. If they had a few lower price platter options, Id probably eat there every day. Also, many of the things they serve are not available every day. You have to just walk in and hope you can get what you want, which I dont like. All in all, very good place to eat.

Excellent food. The head chef is an excellent chef and prepares RESTAURANT, (fine-dining) quality food. This is not your normal take out...its more like a bistro. I visited this restaurant shortly after its opening about a year ago and just a few weeks ago. The grilled chicken with spinach and provolone and peppers is mouth watering delicious! This is a man who takes pride in his work. Ive also had the macaroni....mmmpt mmmpt mmmpt!

I ordered the Cajun Salmon with Lobster Bisque and was not expecting the quality or taste of this magnitude! It was so good! I had to have my husband go get another piece before we left my moms place. The Mac n Cheese was on point as well. If there were more stars Id give more. I never spent $15 on a soul food platter and didnt feel taken...until now. Im mad I live so far because I am hooked!!!

Im unsure how someone could give the food here a bad review. I eat here every week and the only thing that they could improve on is the service. There are times when the service is not great and the availability of their menu is disappointing. The food is always delicious which is why it deserves 4 stars.

Food took a lil longer then it should, driver wasnt good with navigation. I live up the road from the store and my food wasnt delivered before someone else across town smh. Mac and cheese terrible, did feel like any love was put into this food.

This place is horrible.Ordered delivery took over an hour.Then when I got my food it was cold and bland.I told management and was told it was delivery drivers fault,no attempt to even resurrect the problem,just got hung up on.Never again.
