Like most of the Chinese places in this town, it was remarkably difficult to find, nestled next to a check cashing place in a strip mall (though with its own building) on a very strangely constructed parking lot that makes it difficult to see from the road. Unlike most Chinese places I go to, Fume was truly a dine-in establishment, and one that I almost felt underdressed for in my business casual. the inside of Fume is pristine, clean, and very well decorated. Calming music plays gently in the background, and even in the dining area there is privacy from the way the booths are set up. nearly every table is a booth, that may matter to someone. For even more privacy, they have special booths that are in smaller rooms, and look like they can seat 7-8 people easily. I got a scallop teriyaki bento lunchbox. the portion size was just right, and the presentation was above and beyond what I expected before I walked in. every plate seemed to be decorated with flower arrangements, or so Im guessing; the people nearby ordered sushi and it came with an intricate flower on it too. (Im not sure if the flowers were edible, I didnt eat them. Im going to guess no.) the food was on point, everything was hot and fresh, and the staff was very friendly. They have a sushi bar as well, though I sat at a booth. the price was great too. for what I got, (Bento box, Miso soup, and an egg roll) it only came out to 12 bucks. If youre going to be up in the area (St. Lukes Monroe hospital peeps) youre going to want to check this place out. BYOB as far as I can tell also.

Two words. Racial discrimination. My Asian family went in this restaurant and ordered, after an hour no food, then 20 min. Later we got our side dishes. We asked if our food was ready and they said it was almost done, so we waited again, after another 20 min. We still havent gotten our food and everyone else, even people who came after us by an hour got their food already, and must I mention all of them were American people. So we just said that we would take whatever was made as takeout and pay for it,but guess what. After 2 hours of waiting one of food had been prepared at all! I also noticed other Asian people didnt have any of their food as well, guess they got priorities, and Asian people Arent on that list.

Sushi was bland and mushy, contrary to most of the reviews I saw beforehand. Miso was also bland. No Asian vegetables used in the meat dishes, mostly domestic carrots, squash, and celery, which does not compliment the dishes well. Crispy walnut shrimp was very good. This place may satisfy most locals, but anyone with some familiarity as to how Asian food should taste will be disappointed. Service was unremarkable, not great but not bad. As an aside, we were seated with a fork and spoon only, had to ask for chopsticks, (should have been a red flag) which Ive never heard of in an Asian restaurant.

I would give this place 100 stars if I could! We ordered a sushi appetizer which was amazing! And my husband and I both got the scallops and steak hibachi. They messed up our order and gave us shrimp instead of scallops but as soon as we told them they immediately made us a whole plate of scallop for free and let us keep the shrimp also. They continuously apologized and made sure we were very well taken care of. They display the food beautifully also ( you really have to see it to understand) . So overall , besides the small mistake it was amazing and the prices were great too!

Terrible service. We went there include 6 kids. We waited for 1 and half hour, just got one soup. A lot people arrived after us or take out already ate. They kept told us they already began prepare our orders, but after 1.5 hours waiting, we decided not wait any longer and told them we will pay what ever they already done as take out, and NONE had done. As we speak, she packed two boxs of sushi, and I thought that were part of our orders..... No, that was for someone just wait there for take out obvious was 1 and half house after as. Terrible experience.

THIS IS NOT FULAY BUFFET! Fume Asian Grill is a new restaurant in the same location that Fulay Buffet was in. Fume is a brand new restaurant with high quality ingredients and is incredible! Our family has tried the Chicken and Broccoli Combination, General Tsos Combination, Chicken Terayaki Bento Box, LoMein, Fried Dumplings, Fried Rice and White Rice. All the food tasted fresh and not at all greasy. Dont hesitate, go there now for excellent service, great food and reasonable prices.

I usually dont do restaurant reviews, but, after reading all these "best sushi" comments, feel an obligation of sort. The service was good and thats pretty much the end of the positive side. The sushi at Fume were probably the worst sushi Ive ever had in my life (including supermarket sushi). They were simply bordering going bad. The seaweed salad, shumai, etc were subpar. As simple as that.

After our favorite sushi restaurant in the area closed, we branched out and tried Fume. The food here is excellent, the presentation is lovely, the atmosphere is calm, and the prices are very reasonable. There is no bar (BYOB), but that is not important to us. I highly recommend this for lunch (specials!) and dinner, the menu offers a great variety of Asian cuisine. Something for everyone.

To clarify, all these negative reviews seem to be for Fulay Buffet. Fulay is no longer in business (it sucked) but now Fume Asian Grill is in that location. Fume is amazing. I guess because the address is the same the reviews got mixed up. Like I said this restaurant is newly renovated with new owners and the food and service are fantastic now. Best Asian food in the Poconos!

We have been to Fume 3 times since they opened 2 weeks ago. Each time we have been there we have ordered something different, and the artistic presentation never ceases to amaze us. The dishes are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the pallet, almost too pretty to eat. We have taken pictures of our dishes and hope to share them here soon.

Seriously best sushi Ive had hands down and I have had it all over US. I had the Spicy Girl Roll. The roll just melted in my mouth while the roe added a nice crunch to contrast. The rice was perfect. It held together just like it should without being gummy or dry. The service was great. Very friendly. I think Ill be back for lunch tomorrow.

Went for lunch - only $6 a portion! Food is GREAT, full of flavor. Recommend the curry coconut chicken. Atmosphere is great, decor is all updated with bamboo and fresh flowers on the table. Waitresses are very attentive and check up on you often. Lunch was prepared quickly also. Definitely cannot wait to go back and try dinner!

When I went it was my boyfriends birthday, we went with his dad. They couldnt really understand our server, and she had an accent. She made my experience very welcoming though, because she picked out sushi for me to try (it was the first time I ever tried sushi). I dont even know what it was, but it was good!
