This place was surprisingly good/solid Chinese food, better than I would expect from the Poconos location (and I’m usually a harsh critic) Went here for dinner, while staying at the nearby split-rock resort. Tried most of the dishes as we had a large group (Beef fried rice, chicken and broccoli, general Tso’s chicken, Chicken Lo-main, etc). Everything was very good and tasty except for the General Tso’s chicken (maybe personal preference). The SINGAPORE NOODLES WERE EXCELLENT if you like things a little spicier. Also, staff was very friendly & accommodating. Only thing I would improve is the presentation of the dishes, which came out pilled in household plates without much care for how it was presented (but may have had to do with us having a large party and going there close to their closing time) Overall, very satisfied with the food.

Incredibly disappointed. I would say steer away from China Pearl! We ordered because were at the hotel and another place told us they were closed, and yeah we had to order over $50 for them to come, and it was NOT worth it. We knew it was trouble as soon as we heard "20 minutes". Not to mention the incredibly depressing fortune cookies that told us we were nothing and it probably wouldnt work out. All in all, very disappointed; food quality was horrible. Absolutely never buying their food again.

visited a friend in town, brought me to this restaurant for dinner. Im not a hardcore chinese food fan, but i have to say they serve up great chinese food at a decent price. Enviroment was okay, they had some chinese style calligraphy/painting which i thought was nice. High recommended for friend and family whose craving chinese food

Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful and we ordered a lot of different things with specific requests, mostly due to allergies. We ordered enough takeout for 4 adults to have dinner, lunch the next day, and one more meal for two the next evening and it was all reasonably priced. Will return next time we are in the area.

Was there last night, noticed sign in window saying "under new management:" They need to bring the old management back! Long wait, food was definitely not up to par, and they left one item out of my take-out order. Shrimp overcooked, portions VERY much smaller than under old management. Will not be going back.

Im sure their food is great but called to see if they delivered. Women said, "not today." Me confused said "not today? Or not ever?" She said "we only deliver to the hotel" me thinking great im at the hotel!! Then she says $50 minimum. You are kidding me. 50 bucks worth of Chinese food to deliver. Thats a joke.

A pleasant surprise in a hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. They dont use MSG. They have daily specials. They served fried won ton strips with homemade duck sauce while you wait for your meal. The Mongolian beef and sesame chicken were both very good and we got extra white rice to go with our leftovers.

Food was great, fresh and nice large portions. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp+ 4 shrimo rolls. (Came with white rice.) My partner ordered General Tsos chicken and an egg roll. He loved his meal as well. We both had leftovers for the next morning. :)

I have been eating at this restaurant for 20 years. I have eaten here several times since the new management took over and the food quality has gone down. Got ribs tonight and threw them in the trash. They were greasy and mealy. It is a shame.

Good food, nice people. For the reviewers complaining about lack of delivery, this area does not have much delivery of any food - not just China Pearl. Call a pizza shop in Pocono Lake or Blakeslee and see if they deliver. Most dont.

I frequent here a lot. I absolutely LOVE their food. Well cooked and delicious! Fast friendly service and good prices too. If you live or staying in the area definitely give this place a try, you will love it.

Friendly service but food was not great. General Tsos was too breaded, chicken w. sauteed string beans lacked color and flavor, and white rice had uncooked grains. Chicken Lo Mein was delicious though.
