After reading the negative reviews my wife and I gave the place a chance. You know, the vanilla and chocolate syndrome. Our server Courtney was great and kept on-top of our needs. We had the appetizers, roasted peppers - calamari - and the always served bread with oil and a grated cheese. I enjoyed the Merlot and my wife sipped the well mixed martini, to order. Our meal was timed with our appetizers and drinks and the presentation was great. I ordered the Lasagna di Crespelle alla Bolognese with meatballs on the side and my wife ordered Linguine con Cima di Rapa . The portions were large and tasteful. We had to take home a doggie box to enjoy later. Maybe too much emphasis on the appetizers? This was our first time and certainly not our last. We had a great evening having eaten in the bar area seated at the higher tables. I cannot express enough the great experience we enjoyed. Again some like vanilla and others chocolate and some you just cannot please.

Its not bad, its just not good. Service was poor for an average Wednesday evening and we had to wait over 10mins before ordering our wine then another 10 for it to arrive, we never got any bread and the waitress was stretched thin with too many tables and had someone elses meal spilled down her front. The food was totally bland - we opted for two pasta dishes, including the daily special. Perhaps we should have gone with one of their fish or meat specials. I doubt well be back to try them though.

Went with a few people from work who were in town from Boston. Two of us bought veal, one chicken, and two pasta. Dont buy the veal, my co-worker thought it was beef. It was veal but very tough and thick. Doesnt seem that any restaurant anymore can cook veal. But for the price, other than the appetizers and deserts, I would not recommend this place anymore. It was great as San Nicola in Berwyn, its not the same place anymore.

We had a fabulous time Friday evening. Courtney was our waiter. She was very attentive in a good way. Our food was very excellent. Nice portions. Not to much. My eggplant appetizer was very good. The rolls were warm. I had the veal braciola and it was tender. Dessert was limoncello ice cream. Highly recommend

Loved your arugula salad with ricotta, pears and raisins. Your rolls are delicious with fresh parmesan and olive oil. Your tomato crab soup is the best Ive ever had! We usually visit in the colder months for your soup! Thank you for being deliciously consistent!

The food was OK... but the service was horrendous. Servers were running around like there was a fire. Then we waited over an hour after finishing to get and pay our bill. All with a waitress who had an attitude problem. RUDE! Never again!

Ate at the bar. Seating would have been more than a hour. Served by Bob who was amazing. He is an asset to the restaurant. Everything was perfect. When i come back i will eat at the bar again if Bob is there. Pasta with clams was great.

Went to the "Opera Night" -- all things considered, not a very happy evening. The loud noises from the bar and outside tables greatly interfered with the enjoyment of the singing. Food and service were fine.

I remember the food being better. The sauce was not really vibrant, and too much sauce on the meat dishes. Service, salads, pasta, and meats were done very well. The sauces and presentation need some work.

Love this place. Try the lasagna crepes. No one else has anything like this in the area. Light, yet filling. Awesome. One of our favorite Italian local spots. You cant go wrong here.
