Until today I have been going here at least every other week for 2 years with 2-3 coworkers. About a month ago my co-workers food had metal in it. They apologized and let us know it must have been a part of a can they opened. I just now got back from going there again with him and there was steel wool in my miso soup. Original metal found they gave him no discount, this last time they said my meal would be taken care of but gave me a 10% discount. Im bummed as I have been a long time customer and they all knew us.

We took a friends word and tried this place. The staff was very friendly and went above and beyond, even making a balloon animal for my one year old. The service was timely as well. The pork fried rice was outstanding, and the generals chicken was not spicy as advertised, but tasted fresh and great. We tried two sushi rolls and they were just OK, but not bad for the price. We were hoping the spicy tuna would be more spicy. We will try to make it back for dinner again and try some new items.

There is NOWHERE better in Reading for Sushi. Period. The owner is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. I have been eating at China Penn for over 3 years, since they remodeled and came under new management. Delivery is fast, and the food is amazing. After ordering a few times, you will be remembered. Try the RON ROLL, it is not yet on the menu, but is GREAT...even for those new to sushi.

Dont get me wrong the staff was very nice, atmosphere was pleasant, but when you order a drink and sizzling steak with shrimp your expecting a little more then pepper steak and a glass of vodka with a dash of orange juice. Definitely not a 5 star. I give 3 just because the staff was friendly.

The food is good and the owner is very nice. They frequently have trouble getting my orders correct, and you have to ensure the person taking it reads it back to you. The Thai is good for the price, there is better in Reading but way more expensive. Their Pineapple Curry is very good.

My boyfriend and I love coming here to sit at the bar for sushi. The sushi chef is always great to us, and sometimes fixes us a little appetizer until our food is ready. The sushi there is always good! Last week I tried their new special roll and it was amazing!

love the food but it seems the portion sizes are getting smaller & smaller & its more exoensive. I get take out & would get 2 meals out of it but not any more. They do put lots of meat in the dishes. I wish it was less but I know everyone likes that.

Their idea of vegetable fried rice is fried rice with two pieces of broccoli... Ordered two rolls of sushi and didnt get my order right... Have had numerous issues with this place. Not going back.

After getting take out from China Penn I microwaved my meal .. low and behold a cockroach was crawling around in my microwave still alive. .I do not have roaches in my home.. do not eat here ever

Chinese is good, sushi is ok. Love the beer selection while you wait, but pricing is inconsistent and the girl who pours your beer is shady. I think shes pocketing the money if you pay cash.

First time Ive been here and it was the best pork fried rice Ive ever had. The actual meal portion was small and they load the plate with rice... but it was worth the money! Very good food!

The BEST pork lo mein... My picky kiddos gobble it up! Mom & Dad enjoy the Thai dishes. Very fresh ingredients and a clean, cozy restaurant. Great for an inexpensive date night.
