Its terribly unfortunate. Weve been dedicated customers 2x/month, if not more, since the Pottstown location opened. Every meal was a minimum of $30 (plus tips), usually far more than that, as we loved to bring our family. At one point, they opted to get rid of wait service... big mistake. Our server, Mo, was one of the reasons we loved the place. Both her and the manager Max were always friendly and always made us feel welcome. They, briefly, allowed Mo to return to wait service again until they were working her 6+ days weekly (again), open to close. Note: We liked Mo and were in no way associated with her outside of her as a server at Bella Italia. They returned back to counter service (even though the place is laid out like a restaurant) and Mo left... rightfully so, in my opinion. At least Max was still there. Max was always there. Im guessing that he was also overworked, like Mo. Tonight we called for our veggie stromboli, veggie panini and fries (for delivery, even though we typically dine in). We asked for Max, since he always gets the order perfect, and even gives us extra garlic or pesto, and was told that he doesnt work there anymore. I clearly said no cheese and the girl taking the order repeated MULTIPLE times that we were requesting no dairy. Lorenzo (who is always super sweet) delivered our food. When we opened it, we had what appeared to be mozzarella cheese on it. Based on our previous good experience with the previous staff and frustrated with what I feel were influential changes, I called the Ardmore store, because the owner, Vito, works out of that location. He was VERY defensive when he got on the phone. He insisted that it was the girls mistake. No, it wasnt. I argued on her behalf, especially since she repeated many times that there was to be no cheese... no dairy. He YELLED at me. He told me that hed been doing this for 35 years, talking over me. While being screamed at, I packed the family up and drove to the store. No exaggeration, the entire 5 minute drive, with the exception of 2 sentences, he was yelling at me about how he was in the business for 35 years. Mazel tov. You just lost a customer. When we got there, we gave them back the food. The guy who made our stromboli said that probably wasnt cheese, but the dough... uncooked dough. Stellar. Poor Lorenzo and the girl at the counter. They honestly did try very hard, wanting to cook new food but it really was too late. Vito, the owner of 2 establishments, has thrown away another regular customer with poor business decisions and, the real clincher for us, TERRIBLE customer service. Had he just said on simple "Im sorry, let us make you a new one", this would have been different. Hope youre happy keeping our money AND our food! And trust me, we are not the only customers you are losing because of your unacceptable behavior.

When they first opened Bella Italia was amazing. Really good and well worth the price. Everything from their calamari to their pasta and pizza. It has however progressively gotten worse since then. The price however remained the same. Their service is ok but their food quality is steadily decreasing. Its highly disappointing and the only reason they have been given three stars is they used to be good.

Amazing... called for delivery and got it quick... got a large Italian hoagie and it was worth every penny, it was huge... we also got the rancher fries, and fried calamari. .. all of it was big portion and delicious ... the hoagie was the best part tho ... i didnt know they used sharp provalone... no where else does that... flavor explosion... will call again very soon

Great addition to the Sanatoga area. the resturant is clean, food is tastey and prices are reasonable. this is our go-to local place for pizza, hoagies and panninis. my favorite is the chicken cesar pananni. their buffalo chicken pizza is also really good too.

These guys are the real deal. We have ordered from the lower Pottsgrove location 4 times now and each time we have been impressed first by the friendliness of the staff and secondly by the amazing food! Love this place!!! Eat here. Eat here often!!!

We have been customers for A long time and the last 4 times we have placed orders for delivery we were either missing something that we ordered or the food that we did get was not great! So we have decided we will not be ordering from them ever again

Bella has always delivered great food, but I just received my cheese steak, half had very old mushrooms other had fresh mushrooms. Bread was really wet. I wish I could show the picture of my sandwich.
