The pizza was good (3*), but it wasnt as incredible as people are making it out to be. NO FRILLS is an understatement. I could see through my two plates and napkin by the time I was done with my first slice and the grease had soaked them. The guy taking our order was nice. But the guy who shambled over with our pizza, placed it on the table and walked away made us feel like we should leave, maybe he could buy a personality, or he was pissed that it was the 4th of July and he is working, either way that isnt my fault. Our kids dont get soda, so the only choice was water. My daughter was afraid to use their bathroom. The old 90s pizza joint is cool and working for the locals, but fully embrace it, in fact the 80s would be better, throw up some posters on those blank walls and pump out some tunes to fit the era and theme; otherwise, it is just dated.

I have been to New York, and had authentic new york pizza, as well as Chicago, as well as tried every joint in my hometown, so on a quick trip to Scranton, I didnt expect phenomenal pizza. But man was I wrong! I walked in and noticed the No-Frills, old-school pizza shop style: a couple of 80s arcade games in the front, followed by rows of stationary 70s style booths, up to a counter with an old man tossing dough. He looked like he had been doing this since the war. I got my usual pep/mush and I have to say it was the best pizza Ive ever had. GO THERE.

I am giving it 5 stars because I personally think the pizza quality is excellent. This is a good place for takeout, but be forewarned. It is not a good place for a date or for a professional business meeting. The inside is dated and the atmosphere is pretty cold. As such, for it to receive five stars, I think the pizza is definitely good :) - one of the best in Scranton.

Well the place on Lackawanna has no atmosphere but thats what i love about it! its a retro old school pizzeria! The guy answering the phones sounds like the most miserable man on earth but i dont care because their pizza is the best in Scranton.

The best pizza you can get in PA, thats NY style pizza. No one else even comes close. Super thin crust, hot and crispy out of the oven. My opinion...Dont waste your money on any other pizza joint in Scranton!!!!

Seriously great pizza in a no-frills atmosphere complete with a few arcade and pinball machines. Just the way a pizza joint should feel, and taste. THIS type of pizza joint is what North East PA is all about.

Been eating this pizza since my teenage years, This was the place to be after the mall closed at 9. It was always packed and fresh slices. I am now 29 and still think this is the best spot in town for a tray.

You definitely get your moneys worth here. I ordered my 10 people and was expected at least $100 and it was only $60. There was so much food that even after 7 teens tore into it we brought home left overs.

Great pizza, not a tray, not made with American cheese. This is real pizza, great dough and sauce and Mozzarella. A lot of bad pizza in area, this is the place to go. Buona!
