Had a steak and pesto wrap and the garlic bread. The marinade / flavor on the steak was quite good, but the wrap was lacking in volume and the pesto was saltier than I wouldve liked. Red onions were a poor decision on my part; the lettuce was fresh and of good quality, though. The garlic bread was disappointing; kind of small (comparable in size and shape to a half-circle of naan at an Indian restaurant), and not very garlicy, with salt and pepper as its dominant flavors. My coworkers assign low credibility to this assessment, on the basis that I sometimes drink garlic tea, so take it for what its worth. For $10 I was left sort of satiated but not really full, and I was thirsty all afternoon as a result of the saltiness. One advantage compared to Chipotle is that they didnt close online ordering during the lunch rush; whether that policy stays in place remains to be seen. Picking up from the online ordering register was surprisingly slow, but still faster than waiting in line.

Very hectic to order. Got my order wrong (but didnt charge me for the extra meat that fixed it). Drink machine wasnt working and the manager was pretty arrogant about why I couldnt get it to work. Turns out it was completely broken. Never offered to refund us for our drinks. Tried some of the Italian sodas instead but we would have been better off not even paying for drinks. Flavors were good in the food but it was basically an expensive Italian burrito. It didnt really seem worth $68 for 6 people. Not even any kind of side to go with it.

I work down the street and have stopped in for lunch a few times since it has been open. The lines can be long and the ordering process can be awkward at times. It feels like there are too many people behind the counter and orders can get muddled easily. Definitely order online. The food is fresh and very flavorful. Their seasonal items are very tasty - the Fall steak avocado was my favorite. The pepperoni sticks and soup make a quick and delicious meal. Their Spring/Summer menu is about to start, so Im curious to see how it will be.

Piada is a unique place. More of an "Italian-American fusion" Chipotle-style fast casual restaurant, ordering (especially for the first time) can be an overwhelming and hectic experience. The menu is on the small side but decent. Everything is entirely customizable and made to your specification. Piada is definitely worth a try if youre walking around in the area and want a quick bite. Its not worth the hassle (nightmare parking, hectic ordering, busy location) otherwise.

Decent fast casual restaurant. Food was OK and the service felt like it was canned greetings from the staff. Not rude but made the same comments to everyone in line. It would have been better if they were more genuine or tried to get to know you. Dining room was dirty and not too many clean tables to sit at. They didnt really seem to focus on wiping down any tables at least while I was there.

Every time I come here I am blown away by how good my meal is. The ingredients are very high quality and freshly prepared in front of you. Creating your own Piada is fun and encourages trying new things. The restaurant itself is very modern and has a simplistic style that is really appealing when you are trying a new type of food.

Love the ability to personalize and add flavors. I will say on our visit the side salads had wayyy too much basil (I mean I know its an Italian spot but this was overkill). Our wraps were super delicious and they had a hibiscus lemonade that was fantastic. Id come back again.

Had a Roll as well as a Salad here. The service is AWESOME. The waitress realized that I was looking for vegetarian options and pointed out that the wrap had milk in it. She recommended alternate choices. The food tasted fantastic. Excellent service and food.

I went there on my first Sunday on Pittsburgh. I didnt experience any lines and the food was amazing! The workers were very helpful in helping me select something that was vegetarian. It is basically a chipotle for Italian food.

Piada always has fast and excellent service. The staff is kind and helpful and does a great job at keeping the line moving without compromising the quality of the food. I am a big fan of the lemonade and the summer salads.

Went for lunch a few days. I tried almost everything. The menu is small but you can add and personalize each dish. I like the freshness and the fast pace making style. I have not had a bad dish yet.

Im so happy that Piada has finally reached Pittsburgh! Ohio native living in the 412, whenever I go home I always make sure I hit up Piada! Its like Chipotle only for Italian food. So good.

This is a great place! Tons of options and the ingredients are very fresh. The prices are super reasonable as well as compared to other restaurants. The staff is extremely friendly too.

Kind of the "chipolte" of Italian food but much more authentic. The stuff they serve here is real and delicious and not the pseudo-italian food they serve at places like olive garden.

Food is awesome! If you dont know what to get ask them and trust their recommendation. Even if the line is filling most of the restaurant, the wait is usually only 30-40 minutes.

Nice variety of menu options not found in other places on the street. Everything tasted yummy. Was very filling. Service was great! A solid addition to our office lunch rotation.

The piada I had here was delicious, and the servers were friendly. Dont call the piadas "Italian burritos" though! Apparently they arent allowed to "say the b-word" there.

Had the carbonara pasta with sausage. Exceedingly dry noodles and meat; unpleasantly flavorless. Portion size too small to warrant $10. At least the place was clean.

I love spending my hard earned money at this place. Im an engineering student, but I have no idea how to cook noodles and put sauce on them. Im so happy Piada is open!

The menu selection was good, but the noodles were dry and they barely give you any sauce. Overall it seems like nothing more than fast food Olive garden to me.

Food is good. Has potential to be an awesome eatery but they need to work on their hotline too many people back there and they still have no idea wats going on

Decent food if youre in a hurry. I had a basil pesto pasta, but they put waaaaay too much garlic in it. The next morning I could still taste it in my mouth.

Yummy food but a little pricey. Usually fresh if you early for lunch, but after 1:30pm you might have pasta which has been sitting out for a few hours.

Tasty, quick, customizable and fresh Italian food emphasizing greens, not tomato sauce. Reasonable prices and many vegetarian and pescatarian options.
