Problems: The wait staff. The woman who waited on us could have cared less if we were there. She was short with us, looked at us many times when we needed something but never stopped at our table, and wasnt friendly at all. There was a guy working, who inbetween the too-long, grubby sleeves of his t-shirt and the fact that he kept scratching his head while he delivered food to tables, was enough to gross me out. The food. My boyfriends fries were ice cold and soggy. My salad was supposed to have warm chicken on it but was lukewarm at best. It was also covered in blue cheese, which was not mentioned on the menu and if I had known, I wouldnt have ordered it. Overall it was ok but Im not too impressed. I live in Regent Square and could walk here, but if Im going out to eat Ill keep on walking. The place doesnt hold that many people, but from the time we were seated to the time we left it took 2 hours. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food and another 45 to get our check so we could leave. I wont be back.

Ive only been in a few times, but the staff already remembers me. The owner often works the tables and is fun to talk to. I love the maps and the summer outdoor seating is pleasant. You can even bring your dog (outside)! I dont know why people complain about the menu, there are 6 different types burgers and a whole list of everything else. I especially enjoy the crispy fish and chips and salads. The chalkboard outside also has a list of daily specials. Any mussel dish or soup is worth it and Tuesdays is Taco Tuesday. Even late, when the kitchen is closed, the staff will be willing to throw in a batch of fries for you.

Yucky! Started things off with an overpriced beer in a funky mug. Then we moved on to dinner. There were about 4 choices so, between my girlfriend and me, we ordered half the menu. Both dishes were horrible!! We left feeling cheated but with no recourse. I mean, we ate the horrible food because we were hungry so we were stuck paying for it. Never again.

Ill file in with the rest here. The decor is cool and the food is fantastic. The Portabella burger is easily the best Ive ever eaten. The service, though, is pretty slow. Admittedly, theyve been pretty busy whenever I was there, but it was still pretty bad even taking that into account.

No-frills tavern with a decent environment (minus the bathroom) and good draft/bottle selection. In the heart of Regent Square. It doesnt excel in anyone area but does what its supposed to: provides food, drink, and a decent gathering area.

Great neighborhood pub. Irish music on Sunday afternoons when there is no Steeler game. Sporadic live concerts of incredible music - Celtic, Singer/Sonwriter, etc. (includes Andy M Stewart, Brendan Begley, Mirella Murray, Kevin OReilly)

Great selection of scotches. Kids tend to stay away, so atmosphere is great. Food is good, and a few daily specials have flirted with great. Just a tad pricy on drinks.
