I cant believe some of these other reviews. K&W is a cafeteria...of course youll wait in line during busy times and it will be open only during posted business hours. But, the food is great, the choice is good, the prices are very reasonable as evidenced by the many senior citizens that eat there, and I have always found the servers to be nice. My wife and I travel a bit and often seek out a K&W. I have yet to eat at one that was not as I have described. In fact we will be eating at this one this afternoon. Another plus is that we almost always strike up a conversation with others in line and sometimes we eat together. It really is a great place to eat unless you are a sour-puss looking for fault to find. NO, I do not own any stock, know anyone who does, or know anyone who owns or works for K&W. I just hate to see a good business get maligned unnecessarily! We love K&W.

The very first thing that got on my nerves about this place was the fact that ordering my food was more of a job than it should have been. The attendants were more interested in talking to each other than finding out what the customer needed. Not being an extremely pushy person.....the lady behind me was yelling out her order for her drink before they even paid me any attention. Then as we sat an ate.....there was not one server around.......no one came to ask us if we wanted a refill and the table cleaners would stand infront of a dirty table to chit chat for 5 minutes before doing their jobs. The pie was horrible, chicken not to bad, but hey the mashed potatoes were really good. If you have a strong voice, want okay food, and want to be left comepletely alone.....this is the place for you.

We orders ordered chicken livers and wasnt told they didnt cook them until after whatever time. So asked for manger and he said yeah didnt have them until later. Should have told us that in the line. Had to reorder meat while other good getting cold. Terrible service and Ive never experience that here so Im wondering if the service had went down or what. Then asked girl for refill on tea and she asked another girl to get it and she said did she ask me or you....SMGH Not eating here again until service gets better. Terrible service and experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would, customer service is awful at the friendly location. I will never ever go back! One of the servers complained the whole time that we were holding up the line, even going as far as telling other people to go ahead of us. While she ignored us and one guy just stood around. K&W isnt what it used to be. I used to like it, after my experience I didnt even have a appetite.

The food is always consistent, and there is something everyone in a large group can enjoy. The removal of one star is because they had only one line open at 6 on a Sunday night, and the lines were long. Also, the set-up the takeout station makes it difficult to get around people with a heavy tray. We didnt have anyone offer to refill our drinks on my latest trip, but it was okay.

Although the food is mostly very good and the staff is absolutely excellent, I personally feel the prices are a little too high for the portions. And whenever I eat in, I always have to clean my seat from food crumbs, etc. But I always leave a tip anyway, because the staff is so kind.

Ordered Chef Salad, was delivered, requested ceasar dressing, not delivered until meal almost finished. No order I ever have made has been correct in 8 years, the only reason I go there is a relative wont eat anywhere else except Stamys or Cracker Barrel, infrequently.

Its amazing I had the chicken pie which I recommend and I was full and there was a lot left over! But as I enjoyed my Chicken Pie my brother got spaghetti which was dry, and had a sour taste to it..So overall good but just please work on the spaghetti!

The female, blonde haired manager was scraping residue from a plate and, afterwards, handed it to the food server to put food on for a customer. This place has really declined since my last visit. The food was tolerable, at best.

Good selection of food options, kids meals are about same price as Mc Ds but you get protein, side, jello or pudding, choice of bread and drink, way healthier, good economical place for the family to eat or to grab a decent lunch!

I have always enjoyed K&W since I was a kid. The location at Friendly Shopping Center is my favorite! Always clean, very friendly staff and an awesome selection of awesome food. I will always come back!

I always eat her when Im in Greensboro. Food is really good. If you get anything beef, make sure you eat it by the next day because it wont be good after that. Servers are nice and accommodating.

This is the only cafeteria I will eat at. I love their food and the prices. You can have a complete meal for less than $7/$8 and this includes dessert.
