Ever since being introduced to Taco Riendo a little over a year ago I cant get their tacos out of my mind. My first time there I had chicken taquitos and they were the best taquitos I have ever had in my life. They were crispy and perfectly golden with delicious chicken inside, two kinds of salsa on top, and to finish it off, a crumble of queso fresco and refreshing radish slices. They were heaven on a plate. After that first visit I was hooked. --Zoey Toy

Adorable spot in the heart of Castro and really cute interiors. We went in a group of 7 and had a difficult time finding a table large enough to accommodate us all but eventually we did. I got the asada and the pastor tacos which were both excellent! Also the $1 chips and salsa are heavenly and refills are free! The wall murals were super well done too. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

A favorite lunch spot close to work. The food is excellent. Today, it was shrimp tacos with pico de gallo and rice milk with nutmeg. I also highly suggest the flan for desert. Its home-made. Its cozy and simple but you wont leave disappointed. They recently added some more outdoor space. Great for a delicious meal on a nice day. BYOB.

Best tacos Ive had outside of texas. Every variety of taco you can imagine... make sure you wash it down with a tangerine soda. The neighborhood may look sketchy, but the restaurant is clean and cheerful. The tacos are to die for... unless you are going to Mexico or Texas any time soon, Taco Riendo is as good as its going to get.

The food is very tasty. The service is fast and the decor is adorable. I went here for lunch today with a co-worker and we were very pleased by the grilled fish tacos, chorizo sopes and chicken soup we ordered. The serving sizes for soup are very generous. The place is cash only, so be sure to hit up the atm before you go.

Bad serves and expensive. I paid $30 for a chicken sandwich two drinks, and burrito. The drinks they charge me where $4. I could have bought the same drinks in the super market 3 for a $1. I could have made the same meal under $10. I will never go back there again

Good atmosphere. Food is very good for the price. They recently made their salsas spicier which I love. Tacos, burritos and antojitos are great. Good vegetarian options but very limited. Cuisine is mostly from central Mexico (Mexico city/Puebla).

Great food, its cash only with an atm. The only thing is its a such a small place, there isnt much room to sit down, and they are always busy. Their google maps hours are wrong as well, it said they closed at 9, and they closed at 8.

Showed up at 9:05 on a Friday night. Their hours of operations state that they close at 10:00. They said that we can only order chicken or beef tacos and it had to be “to go” because they are going to close at 9:10 for no reason.

Delicious food, love the Burrito de Chorizo. The menu is very fairly priced, and it is a refreshing experience if youre someone who is over the crowds/prices at other more trendy Mexican food places in the area like Loco Pez.

I personally love the shrimp burrito with cactus! This place is vegetarian friendly and if you dont want to pay 7.5-11 for a burrito, you can get delicious tacos and split tortilla chips with a friend.
