Nice sushi. We were walking by on an errand and came because we were in the mood for sushi. Were newer to the area and have a Sushi bar that we frequent in our home on the west coast; were in search of a place here to frequent. The sushi itself was great, fresh, flavorful. There are a variety of options. The waitress was attentive. The challenge for us was that when we sit at the sushi bar, were used to engaging with the sushi chef. Were not sure if they just werent engaging or are dissuaded from doing so. When we ordered, we gave order to waitress, however when it was complete, the sushi chef handed to waitress to deliver, as well as all subsequent items. Were used to ordering a few things over time, talking with Sushi chef, getting input and recommendations, observing their creations, having them place plates for us on counter when complete. Well try the place again, as it was our first time, the food was tasty, and there are a range of items in addition to sushi. Well also see how the next visit goes for sushi in our hunt for a regular spot, as we like a more engaging experience.

I have been in many places in this Country and have tried a lot of sushi, this place does it right, melt in your mouth. The owner is always on site and this is a very relaxed, accomidating atmosphere. The meeso soup is simple yet perfectly prepared. Price is in line with area and well worth it if you are a sushi conasour.

Sat at the sushi bar and never got sushi. Waited for over an hour. Server kept telling us the "sushi chef" was making our order, which we could clearly see was not happening. Plus, this isnt sushi, its Americanized gluttony. If you want a real Japanese restaurant, go to Sagami in NJ. This place is a gimmick.

Fantastic sushi, lots of different selection in a lovely atmosphere. Great happy hour deals, I really recommended the tempura sweet potato roll! Worth the stop in if youre taking in the pretty sights of Germantown. To non -sushi enthusiasts, beware, you should show up knowing how to used chopsticks.

The food is always amazing and incredibly fresh. Service is fast and friendly, and everything is well priced. I highly recommend Hokka Hokka, and especially suggest you try the Hokani roll (one of their special rolls offered from time to time).

Good, local sushi spot. Very popular on weeknights but it is nothing extra spectacular. You will get a consistently good experience with food and service, but it does not break the upper echelon of sushi restaurants.
