Weve been to Teikoku periodically over the 10+ years weve lived in the area, but tonight was the last time. As another reviewer stated, the service and quality have declined over the years, but tonight it went off the cliff. The sushi looked completely unappetizing and tasted no better. The Godzilla roll had Macadamia dust instead of nuts and the avocado was turning brown. If you want mall quality sushi with bad service at high prices, this is your spot. Please, do yourself a favor and go to Kooma instead.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday May 25th, 2013 for my birthday dinner with 8 other friends. The best part of my meal was the chicken wings...lol The service was ok...just ok. She failed to tell about about what menu items that they ran out of ( on a Saturday) until the last min. I question weather this restaurant is Japanese owned and operated, being that I noticed Spanish speaking men making the sushi. Ive had way better sushi and even better entrees elsewhere.

They need to train their staff better. The waiter asked "How are you guys doing? "Last time I looked, I was a mature woman - did not like to be referred to as a "guy." Also, I cringe when asked "are you still working on that?" That expression is crude, at best. Now to the food: quality has gone down significantly since they first opened. The sauce drowning my fish overpowered the delicate fish and was so salty it was almost inedible. I will never return.

After driving past for 10 years, finally stopped in. First impressions were very good. Inside is very appealing including the bar. Sushi was slightly above average with a very above average price. Rolls are smaller than at say Azie. Ordered the special roll which was $28.... $10 more than it should have been. Good date place b4 or after a movie down the street. I will go back but not overly excited to like say Ooka.

Overall, the food was good and the menu made me think about comming back to try some other dishes. This places fusion seems well thought out from the Japanese-ish teahouse architecture and decor to the menu itself. The real test is the food. The app was ok. The main dish was awesome and the desert, chocolate souffle was disappointing; it was actually chocolate cake.

I have been to Teikoku several times, and have enjoyed many meals! I particularly liked the steak dish, the sushi, the tempura fondue, and the hot stone appetizer. You cant go wrong with Teikokus variety of Asian dishes. The atmosphere is very inviting. It is lively here on the weekends! When it is warm, there is a beautiful patio.

This isnt a place Id go to again or something that Id recommend. I got the Pad Thai with shrimp and it wasnt filling nor was it that great tasting. Of all the places Ive had Pad Thai this place comes in last for taste. Its a very nice place but it would be even better if the food was as good tasting as the place was good looking.

We love the tom Kai gai soup, the Peruvian steak. We have had several roles that were quite nice and the calamari salad is relish. We find the wait staff attentive, polite and just plain nice. We go to this restaurant at least monthly as we like the food, the atmosphere and the folks who work there.

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. The atmosphere is cool and the food is delicious. Service can be slow at times. Some entrees are pretty expensive, but if you plan your meal, you can easily get out of there for under $20. Gelato is to die for.

Tempura served with cheese had to be one of the worst meals I have had! I asked for tempura sauce and no one appeared to know what it was! I thought I was in a Japanese restaurant! Service could have been a lot better. Will not go back!
