Um whoever these ppl are that gave this place rave reviews either work there, are on drugs or they normally sleep in a Bush so its a huge step up!!! People live there for around 125 a week...its disgusting and old . Cops there all the time. Its above the hole in the wall bar full of locals....if youve never been to Marcus hook be warned even if you stayed in a nice clean home there, you will still smell horrible by the time you leave...there are two refineries so thats what the whole place reeks of! You can tell when someone is from,there cuz they all have a look to them and very few teeth! Back to the star...I feel horrible for your wife if thats where you guys went for your honeymoon...why would u do that?? Seriously why? Was it in the 70s I hope? These reviews are a joke plz do research if youre from out of town. There are plenty of other,places that arent much more experience...you will leave with bed bugs if you even decide to stay! Also if youre looking for drugs and a place to sleep and do them then yeah its 5 stars

The bar is meh, has a weird smell and isnt the cleanest place. Food is not good and would not risk eating here ever again after seeing rodents and roaches on more than one occasion, cheap prices and an awesome jukebox save it from a 1 star. As for the "hotel" upstairs, it should be condemned. Infested with bed bugs, roaches on steroids and red dust from the crumbling brick building should be more than enough reasons to save your money. Throw in an average of two drug overdoses and dozen police visits a month and its a no brainer. Youd be better off sleeping under the bridge over the RR tracks.

I like the place. Its never uninteresting. You can smoke here. The food isnt bad. Typically Ill go here, get trashed and then go over to Leftys, get more tore up and then at some point, the cops will show up at either joint to break up a fight, taser a hobo or haul a drug overdose victim off the street. I love Marcus Hook. You might not. Then again, some men just want to watch the world burn. 4 stars.

Not the top rated bar and hotel... But good drinks and food. If u are in a jam and need a room to rent for a week they arent the cleanest but cleaner then they ever been and very cheap for a week.

I took my wife here on our honey moon. 5 star accomadations all the way. The locals made us feel like we belonged. This is a hidden gem.
