We had dinner here yesterday at a time when it wasnt even busy. Our chicken quesadilla was served cold on the inside. The kitchen made us a new one when we let the waitress know but its still unacceptable to serve cold chicken when its supposed to be hot. Then we got our meals and I noticed that my turkey burger looked kind of dark. I bit into it and it tasted funny. The waitress came over and asked if we got the right food, and I inquired about my turkey burger which she then informed me was actually a beef burger!! What a huge mistake!! I dont eat beef and am disgusted that they served it to me. They took the appetizer price off our bill when really they shouldnt have charged for either the appetizer or the turkey burger. The waitress was the only okay thing about this place. Im thankful she came over to check on us after we had gotten our food. Even the food my husband got that was right was just okay. Summary... not going back here again.

We approached the restaurant at the outdoor dining area and were immediately struck with the strong odor of cat urine. We were seated in this area with the hopes the odor would diminish however it was ever present throughout our dining experience. The waitress was pleasant, helpful and friendly however failed to even offer us the obligatory glass of water. Nonetheless I ordered a Guinness and was served a flat lifeless drink which was either an extremely stale dead Guinness or an unannounced poor quality substitute. The food was good but served on large unnecessary thick square wooden trays which were difficult to fit on one table with four people seated. The cloth napkins and overpriced food do little to disguise this two bit roadside eatery. There are a number of different places to dine within walking distance of this place which Im sorry I didnt realize until after we left.

Previous visits to the restaurants were ok, but this will definitely be my last. Service was horrendous. After asking for a high chair when seated, hostess sat us at a booth (which we didnt ask for) and disappeared. After flagging her down for the high chair, she seemed annoyed since we couldnt put a high chair at the booth and switched our table. The server was very rude, never came back for our bar order. The food came out cold and was very sloppy, not what I expect for a $14 burger. when the server finally came to check on us, my husband commented that he was a little disappointed with the burger and that it was cold. The server was very rude and barely apologized. No sign of a manager, anything. When the server brought the check he actually told usto grab it from under his arm since he was carrying dishes. It was honestly the worst service I have ever had.

We made reservations for 6 for outside dining the night before to celebrate a very special birthday. When we arrived, the hostess was not very friendly at all and told us they cant accommodate more than 4 outside. I asked if we could have 2 tables near each other and she said, no, they would have to split our party up to two separate tables across the deck. She continued to tell us it was not an option to sit outside. I pointed to 2 tables empty right next to each other and said, Can we sit there? Another hostess came over and said, yes, we could, but we couldnt put the tables together as it would set a precedence for future customers. To celebrate what was supposed to be a special night, we had to sit separately at 2 tables next to each other that could have easily been put together :(

We made reservations for Easter dinner and when we arrived they told us it was buffet only, which they didnt tell us on the phone when we made the reservations. The food pans were bare and the food left wad dried out. We had two children with us and asked if there was anything for them to eat, the hostess replied it was not kid friendly buffet. REALLY, ON Easter Sunday. We asked the manager if the could make the plain pasta with butter and their response was it wasnt prepped. The bill came and it was 35.00 a person for slop food. They had the nerve to say we wont charge for the children who didnt even eat a piece of bread. I called the next day to talk to a general manager and they never returned my phone call.

It was a typical summer Sunday. No festivals or special events and when we went in we were told it would be 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. After 20 minutes I was annoyed. I asked the hostess (she was short with long dark hair and a bad attitude) why there was 5 tables open (that we could see from just the entrance) and no one was being seated? " I dont have wait service in that area" she shouted. Okay so why then 2 minutes later people started to be seated in those same tables? Very poor management of waiting customers. The food was good but by then we werent in the mood to enjoy it.

I think I was misled by their look. I had Bistros steak (or Chefs steak? I dont quite remember the name) and I should say, it was the worst steak ever. My wife ordered half rib and when it was served, it was completely dark and burnt and not edible so she had to ask our server to replace it. Why two stars, not just one? Well, one star for the server and the manager. Our server was friendly and she offered to bring new half rib and the manager took a bowl of soup off the bill as a token of apology. The other star for a great kids menu

Id drive out of my way for the burger. The burger was the best Ive ever had. Literally the best ive ever had. It wasnt overcooked and just fell apart. So juicy! They have some unique beers. Its a decent size bar with a welcoming environment which includes fireplaces. The servers were very friendly. Service was fast. The fish taco was also delicious. The tortillas were toasted perfectly and even with the salsa and sauce, the fish wasnt overpowered by it. Totally worth it! Go!!

Three meals in three days and each was perfection. Their breakfast is one of the best Ive ever had - the potatoes are to-die-for. The salmon meuniere served with homemade gnocchi and grilled asparagus was spot-on delicious. The fried calamari and smoked tomato aioli ... just wow. The waitstaff is friendly and very knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable for what youre getting. Stop in if youre in Lahaska or anywhere within 50 miles!

I really wanted to give Buttonwood Grill 4 stars, but nothing stands out about this restaurant to put it above the rest. The food was good with decent portion sizes and a variety of burgers. The beer was good with a couple of options. The restaurant could consider turning down the lights a little and carrying vegan cheese for the great number of Americans who are lactose intolerant. If we return to Peddlers Village we may eat here again.

A visit to Peddlers Village is not complete without making a stop at the Buttonwood Grill. They have the best Burgers you will ever sink your teeth into. The fan favorite is the BBQ Guinness burger, 10oz of ground chuck mixed with bison, smothered with melted provolone over BBQ sautted onions, maplewood bacon and topped with a Jalapeno Horseradish mayo. They have a very good beer selection, my personal choice is Sierra Nevada Porter.
