Bad Attitude + Bad Service = No Class = No Business I outran a storm to play poker at this dive tonight. I was having a beer when Moby Dick, the manager, bouncer, who knows what came over and told me that in the middle of a torrential storm, I had to get my motorcycle out from under his awning. I call him Moby Dick, because this guy is a whale in size and attitude. I explained to him that I was having a drink and was about to order food. He did not care. Said I had to move my bike in the middle of the storm and that Genos would never let me park on their sidewalk, so why did I think I could park on his sidewalk. Shows what blubber for brains knows. I moved my bike under Genos awning and went to eat with them once I cleared that my Moto was not bothering anyone and they were OK with it under their awning. So my money went to Genos, those great guys, and .not MD. So, here is the short and skinny. A bar/restaurant is about service. When people like Moby Dick make you feel unwanted and under served you go elsewhere and you recommend a 4 letter word to the 2 ton tessie with the pitiful customer service - DIET!!! I say this because on reflection, I think he felt if I ate at his place it would be less food for him to stuff in his maw. If you ride a motorcycle or you want good customer service, stay away from this rat trap.

20% gratuity stuffed on our bill for a party of 4. Good thing I caught it. Both Rare steaks cooked medium after specifying very very rare. Fries undercooked, how do you screw up fries? How do you not offer water? 9pm 6/9/2016. Right between the 2 most famous cheesesteak joints in town lies the biggest insult/fraudulent experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I questioned the bartender/waitress about the 20% who lied to my face. What a dirtbag!

Came out with a Philly friend to this place, and WOW!..even the Philly friend was glad we went (Shell be there more often now)! Awesome service & crowd w/great food & drink, & great prices. The HUGE TV where back tables are, plus the smaller ones around the whole bar, give optimum viewing for watching any game. Authentic and Welcoming, it sits right in the area of two famous steak houses so location is Prime! You MUST give this place a try!

Our order came out incorrect and the manager/owner promptly fixed our issue with a smile and was apologetic. It was refreshing to find such friendly service. I left my credit card there and the next morning i called and it was safely locked up for me. Honest people with integrity!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!!

Let it be known.... the best Philly cheese steak Ive ever had! Super great staff! Way better than those two Ying yang across the street running their steak stands like a food cart! Skip the lines and long waits, eat here, and you can have a cocktail too! Oh ya, and lots of big tvs to enjoy your sports viewing!

I love this place the Philly Cheese steaks are so much better than the ones near by that are famas. I wish it was busier as ever time I come in very slow for the area. This place could be a gold mine and a great experience for anyone that would visit. Great happy hours. Tuesday $1 dogs and beers.

Go to the bar next door (Garage)! They treat customers like trash! As a paying customer waiting for a friend, Ive NEVER been screamed at for using a restroom (stopped before, sure, whatever — happens). We left this place for the bar next door — much better environment.

The service was horrible! They took for forever to bring the food out. The waiter kept rushing us to order and to pay. They also dont take credit or debit for orders under $20, which is a huge minus. No wonder it was empty when we went in there.

Ive only been in here for a day drink with my fiance, but the bartender was friendly, beer was cold, fried food was fried. Smells a little like Friday night leaked into Saturday, but thats kind of typical for a sports bar.

Horrible i didnt make it past the door I was told I needed 2 forms of photo identification to enter. People ahead of me only had one so i asked why too he said to show proof of who I am never going there again

While most center city venues reach their height around midnight this south Philly venue is on till 2am and its right next to Phillys famous Pats and Genos so late night food afterwards is not an issue.
