【Extremely TERRIBLE racist Service】Please dont go there anymore if you are reading this, no matter what race you are identified with. Yes, it is true that the food here is good. But the experience on Apr.23 2017 tells me that the female owner(or waitress) here is a racist. We were kept waiting for 30mins for the meals, and I understood that it was because they were busy. I asked the waitress with a very gentle tone How is our meal? I mean, its been 30mins. She didnt apologize, but instead, she said 30mins? Youll have to wait even if its been 1hour. I was shocked but didnt say anything. When I was paying the check, I suggested that, you should at least first apologize to customer for keeping them waiting, I understand you guys are busy, but thats not the way how you should talk to your customer. She shouted at me again, said What? Do you think we are playing or what? We are busy ok? American customers understand us, only you Chinese people complain about waiting. OMG I really still cant believe she said this to us while herself is a Chinese. How pathetic she is to discriminate her own race. She apologized to every single American customer that waited in the restaurant, but easily started to shout at us without apology in advance. It might not happen to American people. But I believe we all have the obligation to endorse justice and help each other, and make racist person and restaurant pay for what they did. *All the conversation above is translated from Chinese to English.*

Great local place. Ive had the pleasure of eating some of the BEST chinese food in NYC. When I moved here I had no expectations of finding anything close to what I was used to. Since moving to central PA 6 years ago Ive tried several local places. They were either filthy, had terrible food, or rude. China Tea House is a great little gem. Is it perfect? No, but it is consistently good. The restaurant is bright and clean. The staff is always welcoming. Each and every time I have gone in to order take out Ive been offered a hot cup of tea, for free!On several occasions Ive been given a free soup or egg roll. the staff makes me feel like a valued customer, As far as I am concerned minor mess ups can be forgiven because of great customer service. I believe in supporting local businesses when they are deserving, this place is deserving.

My husband and I ate here once before two years ago and the food was really good. We sat in the dining room which had a nice atmosphere and the service was good. We decided to bring our two boys there for dinner tonight. The dining room wasnt open so we had to eat in the little seating area up front. There was a lot of noise and so the atmosphere was instantly annoying. We ordered and three of the four of us disliked the taste of our meals. The fourth had chicken fingers and fries which is difficult to mess up. If the food would have been good then the prices would have been fair, but considering the taste of everything we feel like we wasted our money on a sub-par meal. Should have went to Wendys for a burger on a pretzel roll. Would have been cheaper and tasted better.

I have tried this place 3 times due to how close I live to it. All 3 times its been awful. The other 3 reviewers are either relatives of the owners or dont get out much. Yesterday was my final try. First of all I was the only one in the place. But it still took over 25 min to get my food after I ordered it. Chicken with cashew nuts. Terrible. I had about 5 bites before I just paid and left. If you want good take out go to China Wok in the Lemoyne Plaza. Its next to Karns. ALL of the food is fantastic. And it takes no longer than 8 min to get your food. You can always tell a good place by the amount of people coming and going. This place rocks!!

I went here with my brother and Chinese sister-and-law who ordered for us. The food was served to us traditional Chinese style as it was prepared: one serving plate per dish and then individual plates per person. Very relaxed atmosphere (i.e. not a fancy setting but clean) with excellent service. The highlight was the food--just like I have had in china. Good dumplings, sweet rolls, salt-and-pepper fried pork cutlets, ginger beef, baby bok choy, and the list goes on and on. I suggest going with a reasonable-sized group (not huge because it is a pretty small place) so you can try lots of things. Plenty of vegetarian options.

From the outside this place is very unassuming, but my husband and I eat here regularly and its always delicious! The dumplings are great and the best Ive had outside of NYC Chinatown, prices are reasonable, AND they serve subs so if your friends or spouse like chinese food and you dont (or vice versa) then its a great option but honestly I dont know why you would go here for a sub since their food is absolutely delicious!

First of all, let me just say that I am not a relative of the owners or somehow in cahoots with them. I get food here frequently and have never been disappointed. I ate at other Chinese restaurants and have never tasted better Hunan Chicken. The folks working there would from time to time give me free stuff - like egg roll or soup, which I thought was a very nice gesture. Also, the prices are very reasonable.

I have never had a disappointing experience. I wonder if maybe the bad review is a relative of the place that they recommend. I have suggested China Tea House to friends and all have thanked me. The Dim Sum is a refreshing change for central Pa. I have not tried their subs or non Chinese menu

This place is one of the only eateries in the area to make authentic Chinese food, including Dim Sum. They do of course have all the American-Chinese favorites but ask the cook for some authentic dishes and youll get them. Great dumplings here and def try the soups!

best chinese in dauphin and cumberland county. I love chinese food and this place is of the highest quality. They make everything fresh, have a unique selection, are BYOB, and even have...DIM SUM! And everything is so tasty and service is friendly!

I have eaten here twice and it seems to be better than the usual Chinese on West Shore. This restaurant could soon challenge Ho Wah in Lemoyne, bu they need to do some things. One of few places that offer duck on menu. It needs a website.

Much better than some of the other take-out Chinese places in the area. Anything weve had was good and tastes fresh. They do not deliver but the wait times to pick up are never long. Its nice to dine in as well.

The exterior hides a nice dining room, with fried noodles offered at every table. I sample the General Tso lunch combo and came away pleased. Chicken came in nice sized chunks and the sauce isnt too sweet.

The food is all right, but I guess I just dont care for the atmosphere and it seemed a bit dirty last time we were there. The staff is nice, but its not my favorite.
