China Garden…I wouldn’t normally review Chinese takeout – but this is an exception American Chinese food in my opinion has fallen so hard and so fast that it is universally horrid no matter where you go …just about. I was sort of avoiding this place because at one point I had seen all the negative reviews. The whole west shore area really lacks anything good as far as good Chinese food goes. I have a friend who asked me to give it a second chance – and I was really surprised. China Garden was really good - I mean it wasn’t fantastic – but it WAS really good. I got a coconut chicken curry that was wow….good. Loaded with mixed vegetables – and it was spicy and flavorful! We got egg rolls and spring rolls – the Egg rolls were good – prettymuch what you would expect, done well. Spring rolls were teh meh…oh well you cant win them all There are a few Thai dishes on the menu that look awesome – and I can’t wait to try them! Prices were reasonable – portions were huge, delivery was fast and friendly. Was able to pay up front for everything on the credit card - excellent! The quality of the food here really seemed much better than what I have come to expect. There were tons of fresh Asian vegetables – not just chopped celery and carrots. There were mostly the standard American Chinese dishes on the menu – Generals Toe and his chicken along with the rest – but there are many other interesting combinations that are not typical which I find refreshing I will be eating here again – and probably soon

This is my new favorite Chinese place for the last 3 months that also serves some Thai Dishes but they worked very hard to keep this place spotless the food very hot and perfectly well proportioned and seasoned. This is not a grab and run cheap China joint. I promise you wont be disappointed try the pad siew which is basically a wide noodle with either chicken shrimp or beef and you will be amazed. Very well-appointed property that makes you feel comfortable safe and happy. Youll have to speak up when you place your order as the young man talks very low and I always speak loud so he understands. Respectful people work here and are very happy to serve you

This is the THIRD time my order was wrong! Not only did THEY mess up but they want ME to pay the difference to CORRECT THEIR mistake?! They have the WORST customer service. Not only does the young person answering the phone barely speak at an octive that one can hear but it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth. Again this IS NOT the first time. I dont mind giving second chances but this is the THIRD time. Its unfortunate because we have spent SO much money at this restaurant. Their food IS good. But the aggravation and PATHETIC lack of customer service is a huge turn off. Never. Again.

Wow! Ever since China Garden has been under new management its like night and day! Prior to the new management the food was bland and for the most part not great. Yet ever since the new owner took it into his own hands to fix everything from the ground up,its been absolutely incredible. New tasty recipies, fresh ingerdients, and the interior is absolutely beautiful! They do take out and delivery, but weve just eaten inside because of how nice it is. If youre in the area looking for great Chinese food, look no further!

Grabbed dinner to go last night. Plenty of menu options and prices were fair. Friendly and fairly quick staff and prep. Only issue was the food itself. The chicken coconut curry was good but my beef with broccoli was slimy and flavorless. The fried rice was very dark but again, no flavor. Ordered kung pao chicken for a friend and it came with a nasty looking hair so he didnt get to eat either. Might have just hit an off night but not exactly jumping to go back.

Hard to find. However, it is clean and a nice atmosphere. The crab and cheese puffs I had as an appetizer excellent. Flavorful , and appeared to be maid on the spot. The Hunan duck, on the other hand.... I realize duck meat is an acquired taste, but this was more like Duck jerky... almost all skin. Tough. Vegetables were limp. The sauce and rice were at least enjoyable.

Im a cna so i travel to clients home.me and my client ordered fried chicken wings, a soda, and pepper steak and onions.... There was little steak all onions. They gave me brown rice i asked for white. The chicken taste like chinese dounts. And the egg roll was soggy. I would never recommend eating there

Theyre disrespectful theres food is nasty and my chicken was crunchy. I called back to order a second platter for my mom and brother and the guy hung up one because I got irritated bc I keep having to repeat my order over to the lady I talk to first.

The food is really good, moderately priced, and conveniently located right next to my neighborhood so we take out from here often. We have never eaten there so I cant comment on the service. For take out I would recommend this place.

No soup with combos. Chow mein does not come with noodles, mostly celery and onions. Spring rolls had no flavor. The shrimp with lobster sauce was good and had mild flavor not fishy. Portion size was adequate. Prices were fair.

I ordered delivery told them I was in a bus sent food with NO FORK TO EAT THE FOOD WITH so I called them they said they would see if they could bring one to me Im guessing from the reviewsame Im not getting one

Fantastic!! Ordered delivery online, Hunan shrimp, shrimp fried rice, and crab rangoon appetizers. Everything was fresh and delivery was fast. I will be ordering again soon. Thank you, China Garden.
