When trying a new place I try two things first: fried rice and lo mein. I figure that if they cant get these right theres no bother ordering the more expensive stuff. Good fried rice and lo mein feature noodles and rice which are firm and not brown, plenty of vegetables, and firm meats with a hint of white pepper sprinkled in for taste and aroma (so few Chinese places use white pepper as they should). I ordered sausage fried rice and house lo mein today. I specifically asked the woman working if the sausage was Chinese sausage, "Yes." Chinese sausage is firm, sweet, with a hint of grain alcohol since its used in the fermentation process. I waited almost 15-20 minutes (these are quick dishes to make..having worked in a full service Chinese restaurant for many years I know how long it should take). Got home, opened up the containers: it looked like someone had merely gone to Bloom and sliced up some hot dogs and tossed them in some rice heavily saturated with sweet soy sauce (this is like very thick soy sauce with molasses added to it to keep it from being overly salty). A few pieces of onion were the only vegetable. Id say about 85% rice, 14% sausage, 1% onions. Really. The lo mein was likewise saturated in soy sauce until the the noodles were soupy and maybe a whole tablespoon of carrots, onions, and napa. Great tasting lo mein should have very firm noodles which are more or less al dente. This was extremely disappointing and quite hen tao yan (Mandarin for very disgusting). I wouldnt feed this food to my neighbors dog. These people should be embarassed for selling such slop and calling it Chinese food. Ill never return.

We have been regulars here for several years....mainly because they are willing to use gluten free soy sauce for my wifes food. But lately the consistency and quality seems to b changing. And we have a hard time getting them to give us what we order. (Such as the fact that I continue to ask them to cook my fries extra crispy yet they keep giving them to me partially cooked. They are a very sweet family where even their young children work the counter and answer the phone. I have nothing but nice things to say about them. My only frustration is that I order the sam thing each time but it is never the same. And no matter how many times I ask for extra sauce my food comes home dry. I hope they can get a grip on these problems because I really dont want to go anywhere else.

I eat a lot of Chinese Take out Food just because of the convenience. The food tastes decent and this place is close to my house. But I try to avoid this place as much as possible. two reasons: 1) whoever takes my orders is not very interested in answering questions, Cuts me off and hangs up on me. 2) they got my order wrong even after all the time I spent placing the order and all the rudeness I endured. I would NOT recommend this place unless u are sitting-in. Else: have lotsa Patience and Check your Order before you get home.

The worst ever! Do NOT ever order from here. They have consistently forgotten the simplest to the important things of my orders. Then when I call to tell them their error have the nerve to tell me to come pick it up myself. Ummm, no, I just tipped and paid for delivery for a reason. Plus they employ what looks like 10 year old (2 of them), not so keen on working the youngins.

Had issues with this place and an order and price charged for delivery. He now comes to my house often and demands the money. Also calls all the time too. The food isnt very good either. Stay away from them, there are so many other places to go to. Have gotten to the point that he has been told not to come back or police will be called.

I have never had a problem with this restaruant. The people have always been courtious. The food has always been hot and plentiful. As I live fairly close, I pick my orders up, most of the time. The few times that I have used their delivery, the service has been quick and the food hot. I would highly recommend this restaruant.

They have went down hill since they got new owners. food is not as good as it once was. :( Their shrimp with lobster sauce is vary watered down. does not have a good flavor as it did. and they give less food out with their happy family combo. So as i say i would not pick them.

My family and I ordered take out. While we waited for our food we sat at the table, both of which were sticky. We ordered Orange chicken which was nasty tasting and the Sweet and Sour chicken was greasy. I will be going back to my regular Chinese Restaurant.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in the Coastal Virginia area! Classically trained chefs from mainland China, They always use fresh ingredients and will accommodate any palate. Enjoy the superior food and prompt delivery service!

So glad they changed owners again. Like this one and hope he stays. Food is the best Ive had since China town in Philly. Can count on the delivery being fast and courteous. My new spot for Chinese food!

This is my go to Chinese! The owners know my name and are always friendly. Fast pick up or delivery. Clean dining room. Never been served anything that was not prepared correctly or tasted bad.

Food is decent, not great, but its also inexpensive, so a great value! Lunch specials for under $4. Higher quality food (but a few bucks more can be found at "Taste of China" down the street.

Yummy. Love the crab rangoom. The black pepper chicken is especially delicious. They sprinkle in pepper for the seasoning and aroma. I always get the chicken and its never to disappoint.
