I order take out from here quite often. N I love the food and service you receive for the great prices. I would normally put a four or five star rating however today I called n put a to go order in for their twin boneless pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy and the potato leek soup. The girl who took my order told me it would be 25 minutes. So a half hour later I walk in and tell them Im there for my to go order. So first mistake is my name is Lauren and the girl put it in for a Luanne. Now that I can overlook no big deal, people mistake my name all the time. Well next thing was the lady couldnt find my order, so took about ten minutes before it was cleared up. Now the lady says you got the southwest chicken soup? I say "no potato leek" so she fixes that. Then she says out loud " who put a bottle of water on here?" I didnt order a bottle of water so she takes that off. I pay n return home starving. I open the box and its not the twin boneless pork chops but the breaded pork chops!!! Now dont get me wrong I know there both pork chops and Ill enjoy it regardless, but had I wanted breaded pork chops I would of ordered them. I also know whoever the girl was that took my order had gotten off before I came in to pick it up. So the girls now on I dont blame cause they didnt know. Im not one to complain but I too am a server and have been for over 15 years. I know this job is not for everyone, and at times can be stressful. So usually Id let something like this slide. But I know its not hard whatsoever to put a order in correctly on the computer (micros). Its very obvious that this girl doesnt care, doesnt know the menu at all, or dislikes her job. I dont know what the reason is but Id hate to see someone else experience this problem and receive the wrong order. Maybe this girl needs more training, or a different choice in career. Again I love this place. But I dont think I will ever again order my food over the phone, for fear of having this happen again.

Bread was topped with mold that was charred under the broiler. Pierogi appetizer had no filling. Medium rare steak came out well done. They took a whole $2.54 off the bill for all of this aggravation. I dont even know if there was a manager on duty to speak to. I usually like to give a place a second chance after a bad experience, but this is just too many things gone wrong in a single visit.

I love this place and their pizza is outstanding ! Everyone is always so nice, the toy train that rides on their track inside is always a hit with my kids too. They also have great burgers and their coffee is very, very good. God Bless, Brooks Estadt

My daughter had alfredo pesto chicken.didnt taste good. Couldnt get cheese out of shaker. She opened the top and it was very thick with rotten brown cheese and who knows what. Waitress was freat apologies from her and cashier. Ahe did take it off our bill.

Went Camping in Honesdale and found Towne House Diner. Excellent Food and Atmosphere - with huge portions. Salad bar and Chicken Wings could have been better - but the Veal Parm was the bomb :-)

Food is usually pretty good, service can be "iffy". Biggest draw back is the fact that it seems to be structurally falling apart, with "jury rigged" repairs throughout the building.

Great diner food. Breakfasts are nice sized portions, try the SOS. Burgers are juicy, and they make my favorite Reuben in the area. Friendly staff and fast service.
