I have been to some of the best Mexican restaurants in the world. I have been to Mexico several times. Oddly in rural Pennsylvania, I find the best Mexican food ever. We do not live here. We are vacationing. We live about 2 hours away in New Jersey in a Philadelphia Suburb. The staff sat us quickly. We were indecisive about what we were going to order. Our waitress came over several times and advised us on what to order and was very friendly. My son decided on a chicken burrito. My daughter ordered a simple cheese quesadila. My wife ordered chicken Fajitas. I ordered Chicken and Chorizo Fajitas. This was not on the menu. My son, who is 9 years old ate his burrito in about 4 minutes. Not that you can get much information from a 9 year old boy, I could tell he was very happy. My 7 year old daughter who never is happy about anything ate every piece of her Quesadila and for 20 minutes wasnt whiny. My wife who is the biggest Mexican critic in the world loved her fajita and ate more than she ever does. I personally dont even like Mexican food.. I go to Mexican restaurants because my wife is a fan. I loved my Chorizo and chicken Fajita. The Chorizo and Chicken combination was fantastic. The owner/chef came over. He said he never got the request for that fajita request but he was glad to do it. He also said he was glad to do any request. I even had a $5.00 coupon for this place and it was so good and it was so cheap anyways I didnt use it. It is a BYOB. If you are even in the POCONOS this place is a must.. I cant say one negative thing about this place.. It is good.. Cheap. and great service.. We are here for 3 more days and no question we will be back... It is almost worth the 2 hour drive to eat here again...

My wife, kids and I were looking for an interesting dining option in the Pocono region while on vacation over labor day. We found it, unexpectedly, in a stip mall at Los Tres Amigos. If Taco Bell is what you think of as Mexican food, then you probably wont dig it much. However, if interesting, authentic south of the border flavors like molé and chipotle turn you on, then this is the place for you. They have house made, legit tortilla chips and fresh salsa, and the chorizo burrito was fantastic. They appear to use high quality ingredients, and everyone was very happy with their meal. The service was good, they were acommodating of our toddler-age children, and the setting was casual enough to feel that we were welcome as a family with young kids. It took a little longer than the average chain restaurant to get our food, but once we were served it was obvious that the reason was because everything was prepared custom and fresh. The staff was clearly as appreciative of our business as I was of their fantastic food, and the proprietor took the time to thanks us for coming and even recommended a good spot for ice cream after. Great food, great people, and priced just right - A++.

We just tried this place for the first time two weeks ago even though we live not too far away. Were tired of pizza, diners and Chinese buffets so thought wed try this place after a friend recommended it. Location: Its tucked away in the corner in the plaza on Route 209 where the Sunoco is. (driving north on 209 its on the right hand side) . Its easy to miss if youre not looking for it. The food is great and weve already been back for seconds! The food is reasonably priced. It was quiet on both nights that we were there, between 6 and 7pm. Their take out menu is the same as the eat in menu. You do wait a little bit for the food to come out, but it wasnt that long considering the food is made from scratch. To be honest weve waited longer in a diner for breakfast! Definitely worth a visit.

Stopped in here for dinner with my family the other day and it was great. You can tell everything was homemade and made with care. I cant say the same for some of the other places we ate at while we were here. We had the platter which had a little bit of everything. Best for me were the beef empenadas. The filling was delicious. The bonus for me was the staff. Despite having a grumpy 2.5 year old, our waitress bent over backwards to get us what we needed and to make sure that he had something he could eat. She also let us sub a shrimp quesadilla for the cheese one, so that our older boy could have something he wanted. Would go again. One of the better options in milford.

First time visit and we will be back! Do not understand the recent review about store bought chips and a jar of salsa because our chips were definitely not form a bag and the salsa was definitively homemade. Everything was terrific, from the tamales to the chorizo soft tacos and the enchilada plates -- the waitress was friendly and attentive and honestly I do ont know where these negative reviews came from We live in NYC and will definitely be here on our next visit -- do not be discouraged by the "negative nancys" this is well made mexican food. And it is BYOB, so bring your on wine or beer with you -!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Everything is freshly made, which is wonderful. I love going to a place where the staff is friendly and sweet. They also now deliver, cannot wait for my employees and I to order from here. If you dont want to wait and are in a rush, call in advance. Ordered the Cuban sandwich which is always delicious and tostones. The amount of tostones you get for the price is perfect. The garlic sauce is DELICIOUS. Thank you Los Tres Amigos for being the best!

The complimentary chips were a little sub par however the homemade salsa was a treat. I started with the Beef empanadas which had flavorful meat with a tasty crust. I ordered the Los Tres Amigos fajita platter. Boy am I glad I did, platter included steak chicken and shrimp. All which were expertly marinated and seasoned... With ample portions of rice and beans to accompany it all. I love it when I find a good Mexican joint and this is definitely it!

They sit us down, give us chips, menus, all good... We order. Menu has disclaimer please be patient. Everything made to order or something. 3 other tables occupied. 40 minutes later we are the only ones who havent been served. Server asks if I am ready to pay check. I complain. 2 minutes later food comes out - they cooked it in those two minutes. I eat it anyway with 10% off. 10% tip. Disappointing.

Great experience, delicious food. Its great to have something different for dinner besides the local diners and chain restaurants. Owner told us that sometimes its a longer wait for food because they make everything from scratch. Literally, every dish is hand made, from scratch. The prices are great too! Please try this restaurant out it is soo good!!

Had coupon in magazine for $26.95 called in order and amazingly when I went to go pick it up he said oh well the price went up- not enough food for money and food was blah at best. Better off ordering dominos then this place. Place is small, cramped and all empty tables shouldve had told me something. Will never order from again
