The food is hard to beat, the wings and subs are top notch. Unfortunately, the service is terrible. I frequent this location and chalked up a few bad experiences to servers having a bad night, but repeatedly being left with empty drinks, piled plates, and a clear readiness for the check has had me second guessing if this spot is worth the hassle. Tonight we waited over 15 minutes for our check (which was only brought after signaling and asking for the bill) and another 10 before our waitress came back to finish the transaction. A huge shortcoming for an otherwise exceptional bar.

I recently left a comment on here but feel i need to elaborate. The boro has amazing food everything in the menu is good. My favorite is the wings, but i could walk in sit down and just say surprise me, and i guarantee i would like whatever i was brought. The staff is wonderful they are always very nice and helpful. Not to mention very fast. I have seen the place be completely packed and i still got my food in a very short amount of time. Hot, fresh, and delicious as always. If you in anyway like yourself do yourself a favor and come to The Boro. Your taste buds will thank you

The BEST deck on the East Shore!! Enclosed but open deck design means it can be used year round to take advantage of the beautiful view of the Susquehanna River!! GREAT food & big portions at reasonable prices. Good selection of IPAS. Service can get slow when the place is packed, but otherwise an EXCELLENT place to stop "after work or after play" just north of downtown Harrisburg!!

They have excellent wings here. I am a big fan of the garlic parmesan old Bay flavor. I have always found the service to be courteous, prompt and friendly. The atmosphere is very ... BLUE. Everything is blue! You feel like youre under water. The new deck is lovely too. Good bar food, variety of drink specials. A lot of rules regarding splitting food which is annoying.

We sat in the bar area, service was excellent as was the food. Food prices are very reasonable. I had a lump crab cake sandwich and it was yummy, not loaded with fillers. Bar staff was very nice and attentive to customer needs, and it was a full bar they were taking care of at the time. I will return here often and highly recommended it to my friends.

They have traditional bar food, which is good. The evening bartender was not nasty, but wasnt welcoming. Didnt want to answer questions, and behaved as if he didnt have time for us even though there wasnt very many people in the bar.

Good atmosphere to meet a group of people. Ive only ever been in the bar and patio areas, but Ive enjoyed it. The prices are reasonable, the food is good, and they always have a Troeggs seasonal for me to drink too.
