This is the best coffee shop for probably 50 miles. I live in Maryland and drive up to work on research here. The coffee, smoothies, and food are all great. The employees are nice. There is kind of a young, hip vibe to the entire place and they carry local and/or fair trade ingredients (which I love!). They have local art on the walls and a pretty garden out back. The only slight draw backs are (a) they sometimes close early -- especially Sundays and (b) they sometimes have on horrible music and it is too loud. Just ask them to turn it down and they always oblige!

Weve been to Gettysburg several times, and the last time we discovered this wonderful little shop! Loved it and started our day there everyday of our visit! Lovely front porch and back gardens, great coffee, funky vibe, friendly staff! Were actually headed to DC soon and are planning a small detour to Gettysburg on the return trip. Tried to stay overnight on Saturday just to start our day at this shop! Preferred hotel was booked, but well just have to stop by anyway...maybe for lunch!

I recently moved to the area and decided to scout out local coffee shops. This is by far the front runner! I went almost entirely on the baristas recommendation and received exemplary service and high quality coffee, fresh juice blends and food, much of which was locally sourced. The decor was homey and pleasant with a zesty sparkle of local art sprinkled throughout. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I thought Id try a local coffee shop while I was up here, and this one was advertised all over town on storefronts. Its in a convenient place, though you do have to parallel park in front. The place is small, but with enough seating. The coffee itself was great, though I didnt see a house blend to taste, only a selection including Ethiopian and Costa Rican.

Good coffee. I had the 86 sandwich, which was supposed to be chicken and pesto on pita bread but they asked if I wanted ham instead because they were out of chicken. It actually tasted pretty good. What made the place really good was the outdoor patio area, which is dog friendly and allowed us to enjoy the nice fall day. Definitely recommend.

The Ragged Edge is the best coffee shop in Gettysburg. They offer great coffee and teas, as well as healthy sandwhiches and breakfast foods (as well as unhealthy ones, if you prefer). They are also very open to vegetarians, vegans, and the like. They have free wireless internet, live music, and outdoor seating in a backyard patio.

The best Coffee house in the area... Great coffee & Snack / Food... They do also have shows / etc, upstairs on some nights however I have never had the chance to catch one. We always make sure to stop in to grab some Joe when we walk around gettysburg! As you should too...

Great coffee and food. You will have to sweeten your own drinks and salt your own food most of the time because if you dont itll probably be more bland than you would like. The service is decent. Some days are much worse than others. It is a really cute little cafe though.

This coffee shop seems pleasant, but with no one in front of me in line - it took 5 minutes for the two young females at the counter to even realize I was there. Then, after register issues, the staff proceeded to ask me what it was I ordered again??? Coffee lover beware

Coffee maker and server wasnt really in the mood to make us anything. The cashier was confused what each one of us was getting, the wrong frozen drink was made and all the 3 drinks were bland with no flavor, i mean isnt frozen mocha supposed to have some sweet flavor ?

Great local spot. Me and my 18 mo old enjoyed our breakfast. We shared the bacon, egg and cheese bagel, and a fruit and oat parfait. The upstairs was full of toys, so he just went to town while I enjoyed my coffee. Perfect start- for the both of us. ; )

I love the layout of the shop, and the employees are usually very upbeat. However, out of 10 visits, 8 times the coffee was cold or slightly warm in the carafes. Fix that, or make coffee to order and the shop would get 5 stars.

Best cappuccinos in the area in my opinion. Great atmosphere. They even have a shop at the local community college, so i dont have drive accross town to grab a good cup of coffee. Highly recommend Ragged edge.

Ever day when we went in for coffee, the staff was nice and friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the coffee was awesome! I would recommend that if you come to Gettysburg to stop in and see for yourself.

I go here everyday for coffee before work. This place rocks, after a few weeks everyone here had my order memorized and would get my coffee with out my having to ask. The ragged edge rocks.

Its OK. On the day I was here service was a bit slow and my late with skim milk and sugar free caramel was rather lackluster. It was also quite hot inside for a nice cool fall day.

Bacon, egg, and cheddar on the sun dried tomato bagel hit the spot. The baked oatmeal is excellent. Ice coffee was pretty good too.
