Im pretty upset. I have a daily routine that involves starbucks at 645am. Its a fairly new routine to be come completely daily at this time and most sundays are much later but today my husband happened to work which forces onto our usual routine. I get to our downtown starbucks (just 5 min from our house- very close to drive; but a lengthy walk) and THEYRE NOT OPEN. I understand most businesses have later business hours on sundays, but what irked me (along with the rest of my routine going awry which is by no means starbucks fault) that there where no hours marked anywhere. I had no idea that 15 min would have got me (and my husbanda prework bliss). I drove home and by then, when i wasnt drivingand could look up the hours, there was no time for me to drive there and back on top of waiting for our drinks (which are also made quickly). I gave 4 stars because im now in a sour mood as anyone who doesnt get their coffee would be, but i cant really gripe too much because the staff there is amazing and i love to go there over our other few in town because ive come t9 recognize a lot of the state Street staff. They truly are great and deserve praise from corporate. Putting hours on your building is a corporate issue, not a local staff issue. Theres my 7am, no coffee review for you.

Nice quaint place to enjoy free wi-fi with your coffee or drink of choice. They also have a small variety of snacks and revolving option of breakfast sandwiches, and now even some healthier options. I went two weeks ago and they had sold out of the breakfast sandwich I wanted before 10am. They have to check to make sure they have the sandwich on hand before I can actually complete my order. Im not sure Im a big fan of the current layout though. The "condiment" area used to be by the Community Bulletin Board, but they moved it against the opposite wall and now have a large 4 seat table directly below it, which I think actually hinders people from adding or reading things on it, especially if the table is not empty.

Service is horrible!! Walked in and there was no one behind the counter. There was a girl mopping the floor, she just looked at us and turned around and continued to mop. After waiting for 4 minutes I went over to the girl and asked if we could place an order. She said yes just give me a minute and went back to her mopping. Whats more important making money for the store and satisfying customers or mopping the floor? We finally placed our order and when they were ready she just set the cups on the counter without any eye contact at all. She was just plain rude!!! Will NEVER return to the store again!!! Very disappointed!!!

I really respect this Starbucks location a lot because on occasion there is a homeless person hanging out there keeping warm. A lot of other people might be bothered by this, but I think its pretty special to allow someone to enjoy a drink and maybe a little warmth. Kind of shows the spirit of eerie where we are all pretty understanding of each other. Plus I always appreciate businesses that have community bulletin boards where you can hang up posters for events like Starbucks does.

The staff is second to NONE!!! They go ABOVE AND BEYOND, what they should, to make sure that Im a happy customer, and that my drink is EXACTLY right (even if that means remaking it several times, lol). They are sweet, caring, and ALWAYS have a smile on their faces. A special shout out to Lauren, Abby, Jessee, Matt, Emily.... and shoot! Everyone else, too. Cant even put into words how much they make my day, when I stop in! Starbucks...GIVE THESE PEOPLE RAISES

I have traveled a lot over the past 10 years and Im addicted to Starbucks it is at least 2 times a day for me. This particular Starbucks is wonderful, the staff over the years have all been great and it shows because they are constantly getting promoted and running their own stores. Im not sure what the magic is here but this is truly a great starbucks and the company should be very proud of it. Joe

Terrific staff. But lots of squatters. Three of us looking to grab food and drinks but no place to sit. One man at a table with his phone and newspaper who purchased NOTHING. Walked by 45 minutes later and he was still there ...with nothing! Just stealing wifi I presume. Not fair to paying customers.

Not just to be a contrarian, but saw the reviews and thought Id throw in my thoughts. I travel a lot for work and over the times Ive been @ this SBUX, the coffees been fresh; the service was friendly and efficient [not the norm in other establishments in Erie] and the WI-FI was up and runnin.

Starvucks is a really good coffee place but they are not just know for three coffee they also have other drinks if you dont really like coffee.So if you are looking to get something to drink and you are passing starbucks I would give it a try. That is my opinion but I would give it a try.

The staff is amazing for having to with the demographic that bothers them on a daily basis. They are just genuinely real people and not over-the-top perky and spastic like the stereotypical barista (or baristo). For this, I give them 5 stars, I wish I could give 6!

Awesome place to go to between classes in my case. The workers are always really friendly, and Ive never had any problem with other customers there. The only downside is that sometimes during their busier times it becomes increasingly difficult to find a seat!

Starbucks is the best place to get a cup of coffee and a begal and just relax and play on my laptop... Everyone is so sweet, friendly and make sure u get ur drink just how u like it... They are truly a wonderful bunch of baristas....

They do seem to get bad espresso pulls a little too often (bad machine?), but it is still Starbucks and the only decent coffee in the downtown area.
