We have been going here now a long time. My boyfriend was not a fan of Mexican food simply because he never tried or had the real deal. We stopped at two Mexican restaurants and grabbed a menu. Plaza Azteca was a second stop. We reviewed the menu in our car and my boyfriends first impression was that the prices were too low and it couldnt possibly be any good but it was getting late, we were both hungry and already in their parking lot. Our first visit we were introduced to manager Pablo and asked what we should try explaining this was our first visit. I am a vegetarian but there were many good selections for me to chose. My boyfriend fell in love that night with Mexican food and he now craves it if we havent gone there in more than a week or two. This is an absolute true account of events. I LOVE the fresh ingredients they use in all the food. The salad is always fresh with NO brown looking lettuce. The guacamole is made fresh by your table with as much heat as you like or not. Their Margaritas are the BEST around made from fresh juices. I know because I am one of those people that asks a lot of questions. Their beans are made daily early every morning. I honestly can not say enough good things about the food let alone the staff. Wonderful and friendly. Smiling and SINCERE.<--- This is rare these days at most restaurants. They go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy your dining experience.

I recently went to Plaza Azteca for the first time on a recommendation from a coworker. I usually go to Alebrije for mexican food, but after eating here this is definitely my new spot! The service was exceptional. There was not one person there who did not acknowledge us with a smile or asked if there was anything they could do for us. It is very rare to find employees who actually seem to care about customers and it is so appreciated. The food was great, prices were low, and everything came out quickly. I will be going back!

Three months ago, I would have rated this place with five stars, but the past four times Ive been, the food has not been prepared as ordered. One time, my party waited a significantly long time to be served; another time the fajitas were not cooked (management even looked at them and comped the meal); another time I asked for beans on the side and the beans were added to the burrito; etc. Also, the menu changed recently, and the change in menu seems to correlate with these errors. Plaza what happened!?

I like Mexican food. We have been to different parts of Mexico, not that the food here should in any way compare. Nevertheless, the food is just ok for me. Prices are good,I know a lot of people like his place. I have been here twice and to be speak frankly I really know why I went back for a second time, I guess maybe I thought I missed something. The drinks are good, like the Modelo beer on draught. . The last night we were there we had a trainee waitress, that didn’t help I suppose

As someone who doesnt even eat Mexican food, I tried this place out on a whim with my mother and couldnt have been more pleased. Ive never had food service so fast that the main dish arrived at the same time as the appetizers! The food was phenomenal, and the serving sizes were so big we felt like we had to be rolled out of the restaurant. We got two big dishes, Nachos Supreme and even dessert for only 38 dollars! Eric our server was fantastic, and we will definitely go here again.

Let me just say their chips and dip are THEEEEE BESSSSST and the fact you can grab them for take out (a generous amount too) is so awesome!!!!!! The staff is great as well... But overall the food isnt that good. Anytime my husband or I get any sort of chicken we get stringy fat pieces. Same with my friends when we go... We stay away from the chicken and stick with the shrimp and we are happy. Its a shame.... Also their chicken quesadillas are never crunchy they are always soggy

We had terrible service there the other day. We sat at our table for over 15 minutes and no one came to greet us or take our order. It was the middle of the day and only two other tables has customers at them. All the waitstaff (at least 3 or 4) were just standing around the computer talking to each other. We left since no one came to our table and no one even noticed; not even the host, who was also busy talking to a staff member. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Absolutely horrible. Ive been here 4 or 5 times and every time was not good. Either the service is lacking or the food is subpar. Without a doubt, something is ALWAYS wrong with my food, causing me to send it back. Theyll give me the wrong meat, or the wrong dish entirely. Im not sure what theyre reading in the back, but perhaps some additional training should take place. People keep recommending this place but Ill never understand why. Its not worth my money.

While the food is good at this local Mexican restaurant, be careful using your credit card here. Ive had my credit card number stolen twice from this location and then sold. I wasnt sure about the location the first time it happened, but after using this particular credit card only at this restaurant, I received a phone call from the credit card company asking about purchases at a Walmart in California. If you are going to eat here, pay cash.

I am rating the unit near my work in Kennett Sq., PA. I ask for a marquerita and they give me a glass of ice with a little bit of pre mixed on the rocks marquerita in it. Huge RIP OFF. I hope to never go again but my office is literally directly above this dump, so, I will probably b dragged there again for an office function. I have a unit near my home, Plymouth Meeting, and predict it will b some other restaurant in a year. STAY AWAY.

This is my second time eating from here months later. Its too salty! If they would use a lot less salt in their foods, it would be much better and healthier. I was given one cup of salsa and the one waitress charged for a second cup when I asked for one. I had ordered two entrees for takeout. A cup of salsa and a bag of chips should be included with each entree. That may have been my last time there.

Food is excellent and the entire staff is super friendly. Lots of different items on the menu and portion sizes are good. We always get our food quickly and the servers make sure our drinks are full and everything is ok. Very comfortable atmosphere with big booths and Mexican music playing throughout the restaurant. We eat here on a regular basis and its great every time.
