After reading all five star reviews my girlfriend and I decided to go to this establishment for dinner. After dinner was over it was quite clear that everyone who wrote the reviews before me was either high or had a Chinese person holding a gun to his or her head while typing the review. The quality and quantity of the food was neither Five nor Four nor Three nor even Two stars. The selection was very poor and some of the food smelled and looked like it was bad. For Budais sake the frekin Chinese donuts were cold and hard as bricks! In all honestly, the best part of my meal was my soda and walking out the door. I did not go in expecting a five star buffet, but I certainly did not expect, or want to pay for a below one star dump. Stay away at all costs and find a better place to eat.

My last visit here-in July 2015-was not a good one. While their food was tasty, for the lunch buffet, their service was pitiful: First they went and cleaned off my table while I went to the bathroom-my keys were sitting there as a sign that I was not done yet/havent left! The next mistake on their part, is that I went to pay with my debit card and they tacked on a tip fee, like 15%???!!!??? WTF???!??? The customer-ME-decides what amount of tip will be given, based on service. This day I did not tip-due to poor service and I will never eat here again! POOR SERCIVE cost them a customer! I wonder if their Newberrytown Commons location is any better? I wonder!?!??!!

This is the first time ive been to this place and NEVER!!! AGAIN. Some food was cold and OLD!! And then the service was terrible. I had to ask to get my plates removed from the table and to get a refill. But i do have to give her credit that she was respectful but the service was not good. I will not recommend coming here ever. The ice cream was bad and my table was stacking up with plates. This places is very irresponsible and careless.

Weve been here many times. Depending upon whos cooking, food ranges from tasty to delicious. Prices for the buffet are modest. Waiters are continually bringing small trays of food to the steam table so that little has a chance to taste too cool. Restooms are clean. Take out food is very good, especially when you reheat it a bit in the microwave. White rice is aromatic, breading is minimal, sauces are not gluey, meat is quality.

I will be honest. There is absolutely nothing to eat. No sushi, no salmon, no oysters, they charge as if they really have a dinner buffet when there is actually nothing. A lot of empty trays. There is also only one area for the buffet. About 15 trays in total. They change lunch to dinner prices however they offer the same menu for dinner and breakfast. My advice: eat somewhere else!!!

After reading your negative review I had to post. Are you sure you were at the right place - Hong Kong Chinese food place in Enola is by far one of the best around - its nothing as you described. Me and my family not only eat there we order from there several times a year. The food is very good and well-prepared - sorry you had such a poor experience - but i beg to differ.

Its kind of disgusting the food ranges depending on the time of day and whos cooking. People swarm. Servers continuously take away old plates. This is the place to just go ham and eat everything. they range from asian food to fattening american foods. they have fried dough balls. go here to watch fat Americans gouge themselves on fried food.

Went there a few times. Most times, food is good and the server comes around to get your plates and give you refills. Went once within two hours of closing on a week night, and you could tell the food had been out for a while. Our server never came by to collect plates or to offer refills.

The food was flavorful and hot! My kids and I had lunch here at 12:30pm and the service was very good. A little irritation from one of the staff at a few spilled lo mein noodles near the buffet. I mean, two noodles shouldnt strick a bother. Other than this, our experience was excellent.

This was my second time here.. the food is much better this time. I will give them credit on that. Still only ok food though. You get the quality you pay for. My drink was served in a cracked cup if I squeezed to hard I would of been warring it.

Went at 5p.m. most of the food had obviously been sitting out for a while (pasta noodles completely dried out and food was barely warm) multiple food pans were almost completely out of food and remained like that for over 20 minutes.

Hong Kong Buffet is my favorite restaurant in the area. I love the variety and flavors of food available. They also have a selection of desserts, including ice cream! Definitely worth the stop in. Again and again!

Corn nuggets and great rice. Best buffet in the are by far. Carry out food is cheap easy and fast. Crab legs are only served for dinner, and all day sunday.
