I had the Peking duck and duck soup. The Peking duck was reasonably priced at $40 for the whole duck. They cook the duck right before you get there, so you have to call in a reservation before you go. We didnt know this so we ended up waiting an hour, but the duck was very good because we ate it right out of the oven. The chef was definitely a pro and the duck was sliced thinly, like it should. The style is reasonably authentic (about as authentic as you can get outside of NYC or San Francisco Chinatowns). If you want the duck to be juicy, you have to arrive at the restaurant just as the duck is finished, otherwise it will be put back in the oven the keep warm and it will be overcooked. My recommendation is to call a half hour before you go, and youll have wait about a half hour at the restaurant to guarantee the best results for Peking duck. My only complaint is that they dont give you enough wraps for a whole duck, and they charge you for additional wraps. The soup was made using the bones of the duck, but the soup was only so so (the duck flavor wasnt really there and may have had flavoring added to it). I would definitely go again, but just for the Peking duck.

I came here with my family a few days ago after a cursory search for Chinese food near me on google resulted in zen garden being the closest. The first thing we noticed was the incredible service and authentic feel. Everything was cooked in a timely manner, and the staff was warm and welcoming. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the food. I got the kung pao chicken, which was very well-cooked and tasted as delicious as it looked. My parents got the peking duck and both loved it/took home leftovers (but it took a little longer to cook/arrive than everything else, which was to be expected because it was the whole duck, but kudos to the chef on this one). My sister isnt usually a big Chinese food eater, but enjoyed the sushi (I dont remember what kind she got specifically, sorry!). We shared edamame as an appetizer and it was fine. This was our first experience here, but Im unsure why we havent been in before? Im sure we will be coming back soon, as it is hard to find a Chinese restaurant we can all agree on, haha.

Very nice restaurant. We stayed and had Tom yum and hot and sour soup which was delicious with lots of flavor. Very generous with the prawns in my soup. We got out main dishes to to go and eat it at home. Was not as amazing as our soups. The batter on my honey walnut prawns was not up to snuff and was barely any honey sauce so my food was very dry. The Orange chicken was underwhelming. I think we would still return and try other things on the menu.

Good food, waitress brought my soup then 10 minutes later brought my mother her soup and entree together. Not good, no fried wontons, asked for a pot of hot tea, brought one little cup. I definitely recommend this restaurant . Beautifully decorated and clean rest rooms. If you go once you are sure to return

Good food that is generally well prepared. The vegetable in the stir fry are nice and fresh. Unfortunately the beer selection is lacking with just 3 domestic and 3 Japanese beers. Saw several people easting the Peking Duck which requires that you order ahead.

We went here after reading the reviews some 3 months back. We were thoroughly disappointed with the extremely slow service along with food that did not taste good at all. The appearance is good but food and service are not.

Really good customer service and pretty good food. Not worth the drive from Odenton but I would definitely come back if I were in the area again.
