Amazing place! Great beer, great food, great people. You cant go wrong here. The beer selection at this place is amazing! They have around 20 beers on tap but hundreds in bottles as well. The owner is an avid beer fan who has traveled the world trying beers and meeting brewers. He is meticulous in his selection and it shows. Its great to see more and more craft beer bars. And you can find many places with large selections, even in the area. But this has to be the best place. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and super nice. They will help anyone who walks through the door, be it a beer snob or a Keystone pounder. The food menu is small, but legit. They have great food and the limited selection is diverse enough to cover anyones food preferences, from BBQ lovers to animal conscientious vegetarians. They have specials frequently, one of the best is "Tacos Tueaday on Thursday" which is both hilarious, as people visit on Tuesday and are dismayed that there are not Tacos, and produces the best tacos in the area. Which is not just an amazing feat from a stylistic standpoint, but the prices are unreal. With two tacos starting at $2.50. From a beer standpoint, which after all is the point of this place, they cover every style, every contentment, and even have the typical American pilsners so you can bring your less sophisticated friends. They also have a full bar which has all of the usuals and a few rarities. TV is always playing sports or other relevant events, but they have many and are willing to switch to anything the patrons want. They also have live bands often on weekends. A pool table, which is free by the way. Like I said. Its amazing. Think of your local hangout bar, with better beer, better service, and better food, and youll be dreaming about Beer Mongers.

Ive now been to Beer Mongers twice.. friends had said that they have poor customer service and bartenders wait on friends before other patrons. But we decided to give it a shot because if the location and quite frankly we drink a lot of beer. The first time we went it was during the week, with one other couple in the bar we had good service. Items on their limited menu were not available but we were happy with the substitutes. The selection of beers were good for the area. We went this past weekend...TERRIBLE SERVICE. Plus it was filled with smoke since the door to the smoking deck was wide open. We received NO acknowledgment of our presence, never offered a menu, no one came to take our order of drinks and appetizers (bar wasnt even that busy) We sat there for 15 minutes and the final straw was when new people walked through the door and obviously knew the bartenders- they had beers poured in a minute flat. We walked without service. And we will never return. There are many other bars that offer craft beers, heck Giant sells Chimay now. So you would think a bar that is practically empty every day of the week would take every opportunity to connect and engage with customers to create a loyal following. Unfortunately the feedback we had received on Beer Mongers was right on the money, they jumped on the craft beer bandwagon and hoped a decent selection would override poor customer service. I will drive farther and spend my money elsewhere- at bars where they appreciate their customers.

Staff is always great. The beer selection here is probably the best in the area. They have a special relationship with Tired Hands and almost always have 3 taps dedicated to them. On the bottle shop side they have a decent selection, but the prices are a bit higher than some other places in the area. They have 2 pool tables and a deck. Overall this is a top notch beer bar. Possibly the best in the area.

This is a great place for craft beer and a good time. The bartenders are awesome, friendly, and curtious. Plus, the egg rolls are amazing and rotate weekly. Also, Taco Tuesday on Thursday is awesome. The tacos are cheap and amazing. Plus, the house made hot sauces are excellent. Definitely worth going here if youve never been.
