Great bar for people who are looking for a really trashy place with low price drinks and are willing to take the risk of being cursed at and threatened for no reason by random lunatics that regularly come into the bar looking for trouble. And don’t count on the bouncers to help you when there is a lunatic harassing you. Count on the bouncers to come up from behind before taking a second to assess the situation and violently drag you out of the bar before you even have a chance to get the hell out of there yourself. At Colonial, their philosophy is rough up innocent paying customer’s first, ask questions never. Yea it’s a bar, full of people, that are drinking, and the bouncers are just trying to do their job to keep the peace but some of them are so terrible at this job it’s unbelievable. They scratch their heads when a situation gets out of hand. Maybe if their customers were treated with a little respect there wouldn’t be any problems. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve had a lot of great times at this bar and the bartenders and DJs are great but be aware that there are some CRAZY, I can’t emphasize the word CRAZY enough, people that go to this bar. I’m just assuming they put up with these lunatics because of how much money they make selling them drinks, I dont know. But Ive seen a lot of sketchy things go down at this place and I just felt obligated to warn people about these issues because I believe it may save some people from having a horrible night.

The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that its a local watering hole, not Coyote Ugly :P Its particularly convenient that theyve transformed what used to be the billiard room into a respectably stocked package store. No, it doesnt carry everything, but when all the other liquor store townies go home, the Colonial is usually still open. Not particularly fancy, but homey and there are always plenty of cars in the parking lot. The outdoor area for the tobacco-addicted is a nice touch as it always has a fire going. This is a comfortable neighborhood bar, and Ive always felt welcome in it.

The worst place ever to go for a drink, the Bartenders make up their own price as is follows. I bought 2 capitain cokes , and an hour goes by and then They changed the price to 5.00 , There is No price Menu or menu of what they sell or off . This wasnt happy hour this was a Saturday night at 9pm.... Not a place i ever will go back too Period.

This is the most unfair place! They treat people who have a disabilities different then a person that dont have one. Under the disability act for a bar u are to be treated as if u are no different then a person with out one. I have been trying to get in touch with the owner but no one has his number.
