My boyfriend and I were looking for a short getaway and stumbled upon the Crescent Lodge on the internet which seemed really nice. It was neat to have our own cottage but make no mistake...the cottages are still only the size of a large motel room, with the same look and feel. We stayed in the Nearbrook cottage and loved that it had a jacuzzi. That was the only reason that cottage was as expensive as it was. When deciding on a place to stay, Crescent Lodge won because they had what sounded like a great romantic "Couples Spa Package." The description of this package is: "Pamper yourself and your loved one with a couples massage and pedicure at nearby Sabrianas Spa. Just 1/2 mile from the hotel. Select your choice of overnight accommodations at the Inn, a welcome basket and enjoy our Country Breakfast Buffet in the morning. " Well we never found out, we checked in on a Monday and stayed until check out on Wednesday. You have to book your spa appointment yourself so when we called on Monday, we found out they were closed. We then woke up early Tuesday to book our appointment, and they had no openings. Thanks Crescent Lodge. The front desk told us we wouldnt be charged for the package but we had to pay $15 for the "welcome basket" even though we didnt even want it. The welcome package included: One individual pack of chips ahoy cookies (4 cookies), 2 small bags of sunchips, a butterfinger, and babe ruth bar, and two bottles of water. We didnt even touch this "basket" (it wasnt a basket it was a cheap used gift bag) and we didnt want it but still had to pay $15 for what was worth probably less than $3. The atmosphere was cute but the overall experience with the Crescent Lodge was disappointing.

Ordinarily I am not the type of reviewer that posts positive reviews however I will make an exception for the crescent lodge. My newly engaged fiancé and I came to the poconos for a romantic getaway. First we went down the road to paradise stream and it was awful, dirty, and a waste of money. After having a poor experience there (see my review for further) we decided to book a stay at the crescent lodge. At first I didnt know what to expect because the area by the front desk is old and withered. We got to our room and what a pleasant surprise to see. It was very clean. The jacuzzi looked amazing and deeper than the average jacuzzi that weve seen. The room looks cozy and romantic. The fire place is beautiful and comes stocked with firewood. The restaurant wasnt open but the recommended a lot of good places in the area. We asked when the outdoor pool closed and they said it doesnt, so you can use it at anytime. I think my fiancé and I will return to this place if we ever decide to visit the poconos again. I recommend it for couples.

This place was perfect for a nice weekend getaway! My boyfriend booked us this trip for my birthday. We already had a great room reserved, but they kindly upgraded us to a private cottage. Before you even get to the room, you can see all the beauty in the lobby. It has an old fashion feel which my boyfriend knows is something I absolutely love! (For example, they had an old rotary phone in the lobby by the reception desk (that actually works!). The look was consistent throughout the cottage as well. It had a great little deck that was perfect for enjoying the morning sun and evening starlight. Complimentary breakfast came with the reservation and was very nice. The dining room was lovely and the view from the table we sat at was beautiful. The grounds are kept very well and you can see the love and care that goes into maintaining this property. The staff was very nice and very friendly. We were always greeted by someone walking through the main entrance. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I went only for a night, but it was well worth it. We had found the deal on group on it was $86 with tax for a queen room. When we got there the staff were super sweet and respectful, and they even upgraded our room for us free of charge since they were renovating. It was nice to have a fireplace in the room, it definalty came in handy. We even had dinner at the crescent restaurant in the lobby! the special that they had going was decently priced, a bit on the fancy side but it was worth it. We stood in the Chalet cabin, which was nice and cozy for us, especially for just one night. The breakfast in the morning wasnt the greatest, but yet again we were on of the few people staying there. Not a bad choice but the fact that there was no wifi and barely any cell phone service was a bummer. Otherwise, was not a bad choice and would def go again!

My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the Lodges standalone cabins this past weekend and could not have been more pleased with the experience. It was our first time in the Poconos, and we found ourselves to be (very much) on the young side of the clientele. However, the Crescent Lodges cabin and restaurant provided us with a very magical weekend experience that totally blew us away. The cabin itself was heartwarming, with a real fireplace that kept the place cozy over the rainy, wet weekend. There was a gentle nature trail on premises to walk after our morning coffee. The restaurant was like a bright step back in time with an old-fashioned bar, pianist, fantastic food, and charming atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend this location to anyone and could not be more pleased with the experience and great staff.

I stayed at the Crescent Lodge in Cresco, PA (Poconos) for 2 nights. My accommodation was a large cottage nicely furnished with a fridge, coffee maker, fireplace, jacuzzi and outside porch with lounge chairs.....cold air conditioning, many cable channels to choose from, etc., etc. Everything was perfect. Crescent Lodge also has also restaurant and bar. I ate dinner here both nights during my stay. The food and service was outstanding. All employees were happy, smiling and genuinely interested in you having a great stay here. There are lots of things to do in the Pocono area. We did enjoy their outdoor pool and included breakfast buffet as well. Im already planning a return visit this fall / winter.

The service was absolutely amazing, the receptionist was very helpful and polite. The bartender was a very helpful and opened 2 bottles of wine we had brought with us. Our waiter was great to very knowledgeable and friendly. The dining room was very elegant with a live piano player and the candle light tables. The food was outstanding my girlfriend had seafood Diablo over pasta, And I had the filet mignon. The seafood Diablo was a little mess but very very good and the filet mignon was amazing cooked perfectly with a peppercorn marinate. The room I thought to be a little out dated with the old TV. Other than that it was a amazing experience

My girlfriend and I just stayed here March 13th 2015 , it was an amazing stay . This hotel was peaceful and relaxing . The restaurant was so nice and romantic , and the food was good and very fairly priced . When we checked in we asked how far away the casino was from us , they not only told us how to get there they gave us a flyer with all the local things to do around them . They also had a nice variety of flyers in their lobby with things to do .They are nicely located in the middle of everything in the area . Overall the stay was nice and relaxing , next time we go we want to try to stay at their cottages .
